so far no issue on all the things i use for. but just some minor issue for the touchpad of the laptop. anybody face this before? the cursor are jittering when using the touchpad.
and also the last thing that i found out, the laptop i just browsing web but the fan are suddenly running loud , and the temperature cpu is 50c ,gpu are 56c, is this normal?

Hi im planning on getting onyx for its performance, thin bezel, thin lappy, and most important thing for me is the loud keyboard..

1. Currently wondering about the keyboard is it very wobly.. Wobly.. Or they dont wobble at all..

2.could any1 share thier Typing experience.

P/s: i dont know how to spell wobly.. But it means goyang2 like that... Is it disturbing?

Hi raymond_95,

50C and 56C are normal temperature.

For the touchpad, try to plug into another power socket and place it on another table.

Hi shinichixZ

I strongly suggest you to drop by our office to test the ONYX keyboard on your own. ONYX and RAVEN keyboard also have different typing experience.

Hi there, any one have installed any software or have any solution for the palm rejection on the touch pad?
Went to illegear yesterday and ive tested typing on it, and seems like the touchpad position is really in the middle of the lappy, and when you position your hand to type your right palm will eventually touch the touchpad. but still, ive bought it anyway since im a fan of clicky keyboard and im in need of a lappy to work. so besides the touchpad OFF function (FN+F5) is there any other solutions such a software to reject palm?

ps: I dint receive my lappy yet.. might be on friday or saturday, urghhh the day seems long.. cry.gif

Theres a little button u can double tap on the top left of the trackpad to quickly disable and enable it. (:

dont use the trackpad that much but yea, palm rejection is not the best.

On an average, 4 hours plus of surfing/downloading/casual use. Depends on how heavy your casual use case is though.

Maybe it's RAID? BTW raid stripe can be fast but I've heard that it's not the safest way to work with RAID TBH. If not that, it might be your Windows install?

I haven't had any issues running twin PM951s so far. Even when it's slower than what you have, boot is about 5-6 secs every time.

Hmmm. And single SSD of the same exact config isn't as slow? Weird TBH, maybe you should liaise with Illegear to check if something's wrong.

Unfortunately I'm a bit outstation at the time and I've kept my Onyx at home (running around with my GPD Win 2 instead) so I can only get back with that info later.

Sorry Bro.

Nothing is wrong, just wanted even smaller laptop. If only it offer 1070 / MaxQ this would be a no brainer to me.
