Well, First one this is an islamic account if you care.

-eSaver 7% rebate only end this December but this one end 30th June 2009.
-5% cash rebate on hypermarket, eSaver do not have this - also end 30th June 2009.
-better interest/dividend tier.
-this is current account with checkbook facility while eSaver is saving account.

Well that all I know. I just open the account 2 weeks ago a few days after its launching.

ONLY can open at TTDI branch.

get the MOL Freedom Prepaid MasterCard.. can buy in any 7-Eleven just ask the dude at the counter.. RM25 for the card.. first time minimum top up RM50.. bank will deduct activation fees..

1. buy card @ 7-eleven
2. fill up form + photocopy IC, put in the provided envelop and throw inside postbox
3. wait for sms, card activated
4. reload money in through maybank2u, public bank online etc @ mol.com or buy the topup pin in 7-eleven, or go to eon bank outlet to cash deposit. first time is rm50, after that can be any amount through eon bank. topup pins have fixed denominations like phone reload like that
5. spend! amazon, paypal, weee!

got an annual fee of rm20, but if you use the card 12 times a year it will be waived... not like ambank nexg..use or dont use also charge rm3 a month..gila..

What is the rate and charges? I understand rate from the bank is quite low, am I right?

Is there any side charges from the bank?

Look at my attach picture. That pamplet was taken at SCB. It should be real. The SCB officer also told me the same. Also they give you free gift if you deposit 50K and above.

i used my pb visa electron to book ryanair ticket from london to frankfurt...

it's becoz only visa electron card doesnt have admisnistration charge in their booking system... all other cards, visa(credit/debit),mastercard(debit/credit),maestro,AMEX & bla bla all got card administration charges of £4...

my transaction was £17 and later i see the authorized charge at my card account online banking is RM95.43.... i dont know whether the rate is good or not...but i already saved £4.... very satisfy with PB visa electron...smooth transaction too....

Yeah. That's one of the reasons I chose PBVE over other cards.
