Pixelated broadcast?
Well either it's super old movies or something is wrong in Astro side...

Can also be cable loosen up...

Happens to me all the time after I signed up with the Beta. so much so that I disconnected my internet until the latest update which somewhat fixed the issue. Anyway if it persist try using an ethernet cable instead. I found that it helps a bit

Think they might've fix it on latest firmware update (14th august).

Try rebooting both your modem and router and hope for the best. The only explanation i can think of right now is that some IP range has worse routing to Astro compared to others and the decoder keep timing out when connecting to it

Does that mean, Thrill is coming to Malaysia?
It could be Unifi TV or Astro, or maybe the upcoming Sirius TV, a new satellite TV service introducing soon.

Anyway, nice to see that. Thanks for sharing. biggrin.gif

Finally manage to watch... I think it is due to the firmware update. After I put it on standby overnight, the next day no problem already.

I think Astro should have some sort of notification (like iOS/Android) when new updates are available. I rarely put my decoder on standby mode. (Normally just switch off completely)

For those who has technology literacy, it should be fine.
But for those who has low literacy in tech stuff, they'll find it annoying, and be like "What's this? Update what? How to close this thing?"

Saw some news about Astro...
Seems cutting off some channels reduced the content & operation cost...

Overall still lost more customers as many cut their services 😁

No "Live TV" function eventhough FAQ say otherwise. thumbs down.

Apparently the app is designed not to regular customers, but for C.E (commercial establishment) and hospitality and healthcare one.

Exactly same issue with mine when they come for uhd decoder installation. They need to call Astro team to revert back previous software then it’s solved.
