QUOTE(Matchy @ Sep 14 2019, 12:04 PM) "Upgrade Astro Cloud"... sound like they'll charge for storage. Well, they’ve added 200hrs of Astro cloud storageHow many of you that use the recording function? For me, I rarely/never use it before... They’ll charge if you upgrade the Astro cloud storage, but the implementation is weird, Astro go cloud recording? |

QUOTE(yongtjunkit @ Sep 14 2019, 12:48 PM) Well, they’ve added 200hrs of Astro cloud storage I guess not everything are available on OD. So the cloud recording will allow you to watch those non-OD content on Astro GO? Hopefully the recording will be simpler. Astro is moving towards cloud recording, so that in the future, you can access your recordings on your devices via Astro Go anywhere you are. |

My ultra hd decoder is acting weird today. When watching 309 or 308, after half a minute the image froze and no sound. Need to power off and on the decoder.
If other channels ok pulak. Already called and wait for them to swap another decoder. |

QUOTE(joshhd @ Sep 13 2019, 03:07 PM) For those who has technology literacy, it should be fine. I think it might be even worst if they don't know that they need to put the decoder on standby mode. But for those who has low literacy in tech stuff, they'll find it annoying, and be like "What's this? Update what? How to close this thing?" Or perhaps they can have something like windows update where it will install the next update on next reboot. Same here. Screen hang. I'm using the normal PVR decoder. Currently still facing the same problem. If other channels ok pulak. Already called and wait for them to swap another decoder. |

Guys... Now, at Astro Go's My Library section, I'm able to view all my recordings that I've made with my Astro Ultra box. (Offline recordings like for Astro PVR user, I think you can't see this feature available to you, yet.)
It also has option to resume the programme where I previously stopped, as well as delete the recording, all from Astro Go itself, can choose not to solely rely on Astro box anymore. Not bad wehhh... Cloud recording, or cloud PVR, does give the convenience for viewers to watch their recorded shows on Astro Go. I hope they can also implement more features to manage My Library, such as able to trim the start/stop of the recording (remove those extra recorded part at the beginning/end of the programme to save some cloud storage space), lock recording (require to enter PIN to access/delete recording), sort programme into "folders" created by user, and more. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « @joshhd Weird, I don't have the 'technical assistance' option if i select beta v1.2, still cannot proceed with feedback. I thought problem is phone browser, tried on desktop also same problem. the live chat also cannot go through. I want to report my issue; since swap with the new STB my soundbar got no sound using HDMI ARC . |
