anyone here has the latest astro brochure about packs and prices?
coz thought of changing my current packs after Astro also took out Nat Geo Channel

But phone call need to wait for long time...

MCMC just click here & there only...

Astro CS instead would call u & negotiate the monthly subscription fee 😁

Called to terminate line yesterday around 5pm... Was no.2 in q and had to wait around 5 mins...lady on the line was quick and courteous.. Just asked for account number, name, ic no and reasons for termination.... Offered RM20 discount for 2 years but informed her that already decided..... Bill payment by credit card auto debit so she confirmed again to cancel.... This took another minute or 2 Before ending I asked her for case number which she gave and she informed that last day would be 17th due to billing cycle.... This morning 8am received SMS confirming cancellation of credit card auto debit.... All in all not a bad experience... Just have to wait and see what happens on 18th

you lucky; i was 7 in queue, waited 30mins, said will call me in 3 days for cancellation ID; wtf, i emailed MCMC, next day called me to confirm cancel and by email

there are many more trying to cancel

Offer 1 free sport channels for 6 months, discount RM30 for 24 months. New contract 24 months.

Offer 2 free learning or kids channels, free movies channels, discount Rm30 for 24 months. New contract 24 months.

Does Astro provide new box to you after contract renewal? Another question is, can we apply multiroom (via smart tv) after the renewal? Previously i think someone mentioned that there are no changes allowed if we still subscribing legacy packages.

Look, i understand that my decoder is old, not in warranty.

I can understand if I need to pay RM65 to replace.

BUT, the moment you mentioned RM65 is for visiting AND the free alternative is for me to extend subscription for additional 12 months, my blood boiled.

So my current active contract is worthless to foot the bill (1) to come (2) replace my out-of-warranty decoder, BUT you are willing to make it free if I extend more of the same worthless contract that in the first option denied a free visit + replacement.

Cancel the report.
I'll just continue paying off the rest of contract, waiting for the end of it, while this faulty decoder gets thrown into the storage bin.

I initially intended to cancel 1 decoder at end of contract.
Now all decoders will be cancelled.

Unless u need live epl and malaysia football, just switch to unifiTV. Done that long ago and not only saved money but many heartaches. True story.

no new box, wait for it to spoilt then then will replace. can't add anything with legacy packs.
