Don't worry mate. Demo is always not perfect/finalized. I bet DX10 will fully utilized the full potential of G80/R600 architecture.

Was wondering why is the ASUS 8600GTS priced more than the MSI 8600GTS I assume both are pre-clocked right?

asus bundle better then msi, even the cooler asus use thirt party one not the oem from nvidia, asus bundle with stalker game, and hv 3 yeras warranty... btw asus performance better then msi( my view only)

quad bottlenecks more as their clockspeed are typically lower lol.

QX6700 is on 2.66 while X6800 is on 2.9

but QX6800 is out and its on 2.9 too... so its not that bad.

hey guys, would like to ask, how to turn on fan 100% on my gc? everest shows that the fan speed is only running at 60% speed.

I guess there might or might not be a 256bit 8600GTS. But one thing is confirmed, there will be a 512MB 8600GT or GTS. I have seen one from Calibre as well as the announcement at the Computex...

Will be getting my self a Galaxy GeForce 8800GTS.

Stupid larr shops around the place I live here... they dun take other brands but Gigabyte and Galaxy.

Which one you think is better?? And how is Galaxy brand arr?? OK arr?? Kinda afraid larr.. since I have a bad experience with Galaxy 6600GT long time ago.. suddenly spark (but maybe due to bad wiring in my college... )

For me... i think galaxy is really cheap and worth the price u pay. Depends also... some shops sell high price.. have to scout around a bit.. =) galaxy also gives u 2 years warranty which is quite enough for me if u are planning to upgrade again in the future.

So anyone has problem installing 3d mark05 in VISTA? pls tell me..

Go for galaxy. They have a good reputation in reliability and high Ocing ability..

i dont think it will be a worth buy as long as it is still on 128 bit.
