Opps..sorry.Didnt notice that..LOL..

Anyway, anyone knows how long is MSI warranty for GC?And who is MSI distributor here in Malaysia?

Just reserved irenic's 8800GTS and hopefully i can test it out next week. At last, i do not need to have a confusion on what GC to buy and no need to settle for the inferior 8600GTS..

Even the SLI GTS is no match to a sinlge 320MB 8800GTS. No doubt the GT would not be better as well..But not sure if tested in SLI games though..

My Leadtek 8800GTS 640MB idle at 54 degrees and full load at 62 degrees during gaming at stock clock. I'm still wondering why the Leadtek 8800GTS 640MB pcb has been changed from black to green originally. Can anyone clarify this ? Thanks.

Its not easy for distro to be a supplier cause there's a mininum quantity target to be reached only can be a official distributor, and those amount isn't that small.

You mean its in black or green? If its in black, then there is plenty of 8800GTS 640Mb that i have seen before are in black color.eVGA, XFX for some example..

My 8800GTS 640MB is using the green pcb. No doubt its still the reference design but the box stated that its a Revision B. Black pcb indeed is nicer as compared to green.

LOL..I do agree unless you are filthy rich, there is no point to upgrade from 320MB 8800GTS right now. Good card which is best bang for buck..

Anyway, anyone knows the core/memory speed for stock 8800GTS 320MB and the MSI 8800GTS 320MB OC?

Is the MSI OC comparable to the eVGA superclock series?

thats too low on that lost planet demo doh.gif shocking.gif

almost same as using my 8600gt, I can get the same reading at everything default... lets hope it is due to their poor coding...

I heard that green pcb's are newer revisions. The early 8800's are mostly black in color. Not exactly sure what's changed. But I remember the first batch of 8800GTX that was recalled was plagued with some transistor issue, causing the card to run in 2d clocks even when there's 3d stuff running, was black in color. So I guess green pcb means you'll be free of such problem? hmm.gif
