I tested ATItool on that setting and it passed (1 hour). Briefly tested the core at 648 and no artifacts.... lazy to test further.

Yours is SLI right? Would that be a problem as you need to OC both cards?

How high could you go with the core speed?

648? i went to 621 then dah malas dah. tongue.gif

have you ever noticed, if you use nvidia's monitor and ATiTool, you can't actually set the bus speed's to what you want, precisely? when i set the mem clock to 985mhz and set "set clock", nothing happened. only when i raised it to 995mhz, it jumped to 999mhz. doh.gif

Can't.
Because if you install it in your PC, it will add 60KG's to the total weight of your CPU. laugh.gif

Errr... I usually don't consider an overclocked GC stable unless it passes the ATItool aritifacts scanning. Once it passes this test, I will then test it out with other apps e.g. 3Dmarks and the some games.....

Remember that small artifacts (e.g. pixel artifacts) won't be picked up by the naked eye..... nod.gif

That's not a bug. Due to some internal clock setting (can't remember the exact reason), the clocks can only be set at a set incremental values only.... I think every 17mhz..... hmm.gif
