The new Celcom WiFi a bit weird...
U needed to check coverage... Not the normal phone coverage but the wireless broadband coverage.. Seems like they uses different tower / network for wireless broadband... And they "locked" location.... Needed to see your home address... No coverage mean Big No.... |

You should monitor the network usage via PC to see how much speed it can supply for Youtube/Netflix.im planning to buy 4k smart tv, bcoz i wanna know weither it works on 4k reso or not. For Netflix, just play any video and monitor. For Youtube, try to switch to 1080p and see your speed. Probably it is stuck at 2Mbps-3Mbps |

"uh-oh.. sorry your area is not covered" you can try. what u need to do is go to CELCOM TTDI. why? Because that is the only place that can registered for you. I tried Celcom Prima Gombak before. A week after that, they said they cant register the modem under my name becoz of the system error. So i got a called from celcom, Rianna, she said the only celcom that can register is Celcom TTDI. When i got there i ask them how many people have registerd for this celcom wifi broadband ? they said.. im the first one.. =.=" but before you go, make sure you do the speedtest on your phone first.. then you show it to them.. thats all. plus it have 30 days trial. so just give it a try.. good luck. Want to try with prepaid digi later on if the speed same or better. Do antenna increase the coverage ? I ask Lazada Seller Sing4G. He said that antenna doesnt increase at all for B618 because internal antenna already better. But if u buy antenna. Do let me know the result. If it increase much, i also want to buy. Haha |

When I put the SIM into a different router, no Internet. When the SIM is inserted to Celcom B618, Internet is available. Location is not the register address.
I think the SIM is lock to the B618. |

what i've tested so far was , download can full throttle, but video walla / download using youtube capped at 3mbps<.
the modem also not geo locked as they didnt request for exact location to be registered or no coordinate features in modem it self. (as vsat modem they had coordinate locked function). sim also can be use in other modem as i used in my e5377s mifi, however i think the simcard is using other infrastructure, as they cant move around, if static okay, but if i bring the mifi around. it will become no sevice and take time to locked to the internet. |

Thank you. you can do the speedtest on your celcom network, and then if the speed is above 10mbps, you can go to CELCOM TTDI only to pick up the modem and sim card. thats all. |

I am using Celcom Home Wireless Broadband. One thing that I found quite unusual is, somehow the service is locked to just one place. I am sure that I didn't supply my home address to Celcom. But the modem only works at my home. I've run some test, it works in around 2-3km radius.
Now, I know that the FAQ states that the customer will not be able to bring this modem around as it’s locked to the registered address. What I don't understand is how the do that. As for now, I think the service is locked to a specific number of cells on a specific communication tower. Anyone else try to move the modem around? |

QUOTE(arepeace92 @ Mar 28 2018, 09:13 AM) what i've tested so far was , download can full throttle, but video walla / download using youtube capped at 3mbps<. So the SIM card could be used in other modem, at another location, but it must be static at one place?the modem also not geo locked as they didnt request for exact location to be registered or no coordinate features in modem it self. (as vsat modem they had coordinate locked function). sim also can be use in other modem as i used in my e5377s mifi, however i think the simcard is using other infrastructure, as they cant move around, if static okay, but if i bring the mifi around. it will become no sevice and take time to locked to the internet. |

Damn, the Youtube loading speed is capped at 480p and sometimes it will stopped for a while before reload it again. While others websites not under VideoWalla link is working smoothly. Why they do that? It supposed to be smooth video buffering since it is under 4G LTE with full reception bar. Those who subscribed to Wireless Platinum package, did you guys encounter this issue as well? I do the speedtest, can easily reached 60mbps ++ in my residence area.

But the Youtube streaming really disappointed as the resolution can dropped to 240p despite having great speed for other websites. Anyone knows how to bypass this Video Walla as Celcom is not sincere enough to provide normal fibre speed to their end users when it comes to watching movies using the apps categories under Video Walla. On top of that, is there anyone know how to check the usage for Video Walla as Celcom Online Service only shown the normal usage for Internet but not for Video Walla? No point to upgrade to 1TB platinum package if this issue not able to resolve it to the satisfactory level. This post has been edited by Jeffreynsx: Mar 31 2018, 11:33 AM |

By the way guys, we need to destroy this evidence (topic) to prevent too many ppl subscribe to this plan..
QUOTE The modem is provided is covered by a 24-month warranty but you would need to pay RM499 if the modem is damaged due to negligence. The broadband plans are tied to a 24-month contract and if you decide to terminate after 30 days of registration, you’ll need to pay a penalty of RM499 with reducing balance. Once you’ve paid the penalty, the modem is yours to keep. sourceAnyone can explain it more about the ....with reducing balance. This post has been edited by iezqandar: Apr 2 2018, 05:10 PM |

Hi guys. May I know if this is the Celcom Broadband plan on this website here?
https://www.celcom.com.my/personal/broadban...lcom-home-fibre And they have different plans, 120 150 180? Said the speed is capped at 10,20,and 40Mbps respectively but you guys managed to get more? How’s the coverage?Thinking of porting out from my Digi Infinite if it’s as good or better... |

so now there is no capped on walla sites anymore? damn, i just terminate the plan just becoz of this walla issue. seriously? if you give quota, it is up to user to use it accordingly..if it is unlimited, then it is quite acceptable to cap streaming site.

i've done terminate my celcom wireless today.
so conclusion, just give them a reason to terminate. and then by end of the month, they will send out letter to our billing address for the final price 499+gst (maybe) + (stamp cost). so about the warranty, i had ask blue cube, customer service (1111) and home wirelesss careline (1300113282) they give different answer, but i think the most reliable is from home wireless careline. cc said once terminate contract, no more device warranty. but wireless careline said, if terminate contract, still got the leftoever warranty until 1 year. just bring the necessary receipt to huawei center (eg, amcorp mall). currently no cooling period for re-apply. once terminate, settle previous penalty, then can apply new. He showed me a screenshot on his phone with RM1200 as the price of the modem. I don't really trust his info because what he told me isn't stated in the TnC. Moreover I'm the first person to subscribe to this plan from that particular Blue Cube outlet. Might be the first in Kuching too, haha. |

QUOTE(arepeace92 @ Apr 3 2018, 01:05 PM) Also, he told me I need to return the modem even after I finished the 2 years contract which is a bit unbelievable, haha. Actually I don't mind keeping the 2 years contract (in order to get the modem without a penalty), it's not a bad plan compared to Digi Broadband 60 that I had. However in 2 years the TnC might change, maybe for better or worse. Yeah, I will terminate at another branch. |

QUOTE For those who are interested to sign up for the new UniFi Wireless Broadband service, you have to purchase the Huawei 4G B618 WiFi Router from TM as well. That being said, the company is offering it at RM599 which is much lower than the market price (a quick check shows the prices range from RM1300 to RM1500). soon B618 market price will drop to RM 800 +- |

Hi all, anyone having problem to update Adobe Reader DC or access Adobe website? Seems like Huawei B618 router had blocked the access to this website. Anyone know how to add this website to exception list in order for us to access the website? Thank you.

Do you think it's worth to terminate my current "unlimited" streamyx 8mbps bonanza campaign? Currently it costs RM93.95 (after GST) for two years. After two years, it will revert back to original price, which is RM160/month. Terminate the streamyx, pay the RM500++ penalty and subscribe the Celcom Wireless Broadband RM150++ packages. Upon checking the coverage at celcom portal, it said that my address are serviceable. Speedtest done via my iphone also reached 40Mbps Down / 10Mbps up (after midnight) and 15Mbps Down / 7Mbps Up peak time. Streamyx served me well, nothing much problems involved but I only want the fast upload speed

Just subscribed to 159 package from Bluecube All Seasons, Penang and got a brand new Huawei B618. They claimed it’s their last unit. What I wanna know is there a way to tell how much I have used from my video walla quota of 850GB as on the website, Celcom only shows me how much I use from the 150GB quota?

Celcom Online Service website only show the conventional 150GB quota. For video walla quota checking, you may need to download the Celcom Postpaid apps as suggested by Celcom personnel or can call their hotline to ask for the quota balance as at today. I had downloaded the Celcom postpaid apps but is pretty useless as the page can't load properly with blank screen show in my smartphone. This post has been edited by Jeffreynsx: Apr 10 2018, 06:54 AM |

For now the only way to check your video walla usage is through their hotline 1-300-11-3282 where the call is charged at 30 cents/ minute, OR you can message Celcom on Facebook to check. Regarding the quota, Video walla quota is separated from the normal monthly quota, e.g. if you subscribe to RM159/ month, your monthly quota is 150GB and video walla quota is 1TB This post has been edited by Maestrol: Apr 13 2018, 02:44 PM |

Hi all, anyone realized why the Celcom Online Service stated the billing date is different from the registration date that we subscribed the package? Isn't that it supposed to be tally with our date of registering the package?

But can anyone help to check if this is public IP or private IP? because it is important for me to play ps4.. u can see ur router WAN IP, and u go to whatismyip.net to see if it is the same, then is public ip, if not then is private IP.. |

But can anyone help to check if this is public IP or private IP? because it is important for me to play ps4.. ya me too..ps4..u can see ur router WAN IP, and u go to whatismyip.net to see if it is the same, then is public ip, if not then is private IP.. |

Just got celcom home wireless 50GB yesterday. Speed acceptable (for me), 20-25Mbps.
Anybody tried using for P2P/torrent? Doesn't seem to work unless VPN. Blocked by celcom? My celcom First Gold and First Platinum line works ok. Likewise, certain torrent sites can't access unless with VPN. |

ok..i'm gonna terminate my celcom home wireless. Not good for ps4 gaming ( ping 115-120 for BF1 ), my terrarium tv buffering-kodi, ( using umobile hero p70 plan a way better, smooth )
For testing only, my unifi's cable kena gigit tikus, already applied for Maxis fiber. This post has been edited by huruhara: Apr 24 2018, 09:49 AM |

Guys, do take note of scam website that mimic Celcom Online Service Login Page - http://www.celcom.com.my/servicecenter/fac...e%3D4dk266cm8_4
This website is not secure without https:// - anyone can assist to report it to Celcom careline or liaise with them through Celcom messenger service to let them know this issue. Thank you. This post has been edited by Jeffreynsx: Apr 24 2018, 10:11 PM |

Hi all, anyone had received their first bill? Usually the bill will issue after one month of trial period based on the registered date or the billing cycle date based on Celcom Online Service portal? Thank you.

QUOTE(Maestrol @ Apr 13 2018, 02:43 PM) For now the only way to check your video walla usage is through their hotline 1-300-11-3282 where the call is charged at 30 cents/ minute, OR you can message Celcom on Facebook to check. What about the Home Wireless Gold Plus? what the video quota?Regarding the quota, Video walla quota is separated from the normal monthly quota, e.g. if you subscribe to RM159/ month, your monthly quota is 150GB and video walla quota is 1TB Does this work in area do not have 4G/LTE . |

During first launch of Digi Infinite, there was also unable to load adobe website.
I guess the website maybe under certain range of IP address or related to P2P technology, which is filtered out and forgot to add into exception. If i am not wrong, Digi took few weeks to solve this issue. |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ May 2 2018, 08:50 PM) From my understanding, if you terminated after 30 days but within the month, you need to pay penalty fees of RM526 (inclusive of 6% GST). If you subscribed for 1 year and decided to terminate, the penalty rate will be reduced 50% of the RM526. Meaning you just need to pay the penalty fees of RM263 (inclusive of 6% GST) and the contract will get terminated with the router keep for your own. That the confuse part it didnt say you keep the router.it only say penalty rm529 . Question is the router is free?, it less from rm529 but the router cost rm1299. They subsidy to rm499. Then u terminate penalty is plan but what about the router? This post has been edited by Theoutspokenguy: May 2 2018, 09:33 PM |

QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ May 2 2018, 09:33 PM) That the confuse part it didnt say you keep the router.it only say penalty rm529 . Question is the router is free?, it less from rm529 but the router cost rm1299. They subsidy to rm499. Then u terminate penalty is plan but what about the router? Actually the overall penalty cost solely based on RM526. There is no hidden cost occur as I checked with their customer service representative from Blue Cube The Gardens. Make sure deal with the service centre you subscribed the package. |

QUOTE(hankeymeal @ May 3 2018, 08:11 AM) There is no issue for you to watch 2160p 4K video at all. The only concerned is the data being use while you watch high resolutions videos. Not sure why there is some different in loading speed. This post has been edited by Jeffreynsx: May 3 2018, 09:34 AM |

If based on rm526 then i will be glad so the penalty is the router not the plan but then why put contract 24months . So if i stay after 24months router is free but if i cancel before 24months they will just discount off the router? Because earlier i calculated rm106 x24 months = rm2544This post has been edited by Theoutspokenguy: May 3 2018, 10:09 AM |

I just confirm with celcom you are right its solely based on rm499+ 6% + final bill. Here the confirmation What if I terminate the service within the contract period? You will be charged penalty of RM529.00 inclusive GST with reducing balance, which will be reflected in your final bill. If I terminate the service before the contract ends, do I need to return the modem(s)? No, you can keep the modem after you pay the penalty. I'm using Streamyx 4Mbps (it's the only plan at my area. There is no fiber cable not even Streamyx 8Mbps) the problem is the line keep breaking off especially when it's raining. I've been complaining to TM but seems like they have no idea what's happening and finally told me copper wire is like that. I'm thinking of moving to Celcom Home Wireless Gold Plus. My question are as follow. Hope you guys can help
1. Does the Video Walla has speed cap? (I watch Astro online and Youtube quite frequent) 2. Is Youtube included under Video Walla? Last night I check I don't see Youtube in the Video Walla category. 2. Will I still be able to download torrent? (I use BitComet to download torrent) 3. Any other things that I should be aware of? Thanks. This post has been edited by Charlize1103: May 6 2018, 04:24 AM Attached thumbnail(s) |

In my opinion i feel this plan will be alot better than your streamyx 4mbps i easily can get 80mbps in my house area. (I watch Astro online and Youtube quite frequent) No speed cap but do have quota limit, which is 100GB per month. If you're those who always watch HD or 4K video quality, better upgrade the plan to platinum package. Hassle free and no worry about the quota limit which is being allocated for 1TB. 2. Is Youtube included under Video Walla? Last night I check I don't see Youtube in the Video Walla category. Yes. It is being included in the Video Walla package and separated from the 50GB normal data usage. 2. Will I still be able to download torrent? (I use BitComet to download torrent) Unfortunately, no. There is a restriction for this unless you enable the VPN service but the speed limit is there. 3. Any other things that I should be aware of? If you use for a while and decided to terminate the service, better do it within 30 days or else penalty RM499 + 6% GST will be imposed to your account. Thanks. |

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ May 9 2018, 01:53 AM) Well I installed a new boot up disk and when I setup my network I don't know some how setup as public network. After I switched to Home network the listening port is working now. Of course I did setup the router virtual server as usual. If using VPN, there isn't a problem at all. The main concerned is normal user if they didn't change the settings, did they able to access specific websites as per usual? So far no resolution on this matter despite reported to them 2 to 3 weeks back. |

After I switched to Home network the listening port is working now. Of course I did setup the router virtual server as usual. Update: Port forwarding doesn't work anymore with Celcom Home Wireless (Huawei B618s-22d router). It was working for a while but the next day it just doesn't work anymore no matter what I try. The same setting works on Streamyx (I still have Streamyx with me) but not Celcom Home Wireless. I wonder can Celcom block port forwarding? I was running with VPN without listening port on and the speed was 10xx kB/s which is still ok I guess This post has been edited by Charlize1103: May 12 2018, 03:50 AM |

For me, I had upgraded my package from Gold Plus to Platinum with 1TB of Video Walla data. So far so good and feel the speed improved when loading website. Not sure why there is some different in loading speed. Can watch 4k netflix in smart tv or by ps4 device?whith 1tb video walla? |

For my understanding, this router reception is good enough to use in landed property unless your house is bungalow in which required external antenna to boost the connection. Can try to survey around to get the best quote for this external antenna that support for this device. |

Yeah, currently the CELCOM broadband is package with Huawei router, but I am not sure which model.
currently I try to use the Maxis line (data plan) in my HP to connect as wireless WIFI..the signal is very weak when I put at downstair, even watch in same level living hall area.. how can we know whether the router is strong enough ? any spec in the machine can tell ? For smart TV, do we know which line of spec can tell us their wireless reception strength ? QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ May 15 2018, 06:31 AM) |

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ May 16 2018, 03:30 AM) There is a way. Hear me out. If you log in to celcom portal, you can see ur total internet usage WITHOUT walla video. But then if you see on your huawei apps, it shows your TOTAL internet usage. Basically the cycle starts on 3rd every month. So you just need to deduct your TOTAL internet usage on HUAWEI app with TOTAL usage on CELCOM portal. Then you will get ur walla video usage. That is an estimated amount. Not really accurate. |

I gotten the Home Wireless Broadband 150 package from Blue Cube Paradigm Mall on the 19th May. Apparently my device is Simlock and Celcom confirm with me that the device is not suppose to be lock and they didn't assist me any further. Maybe earlier adopters of the package don't have their routers Simlock. Wonder if they will give me the key if I terminate the package and force to buy the device... |

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ May 24 2018, 07:52 PM) I insert a different telco sim card into the B618 router. Only Celcom sim card given with the router works. The Mode light on the router will be a solid red and when you check in the 192.168.8.1 the message pops up saying UNLOCK DEVICE The device has been locked. Contact your ISP to obtain the SIMLOCK code. Enter the correct SIMLOCK code to unlock the device. If the remaining numbers of unlock attempts is 0, the device will be permanently locked. |

I am in the Celcom Blue Cube Paradigm mall and I have been informed that the device is Simlock irregardless of situation (ie early cancellation and not returning device or after 2 yrs contract). So even if you fulfill the 2 years with Celcom and the device is technically yours the router will only work with Celcom line.Returning mine after just just 6 days of usage. I really love Celcom speed and stability in Petaling Jaya area. But Celcom have many conflicting statements which annoys me. Celcom Fb Massenger say that it is not locked and when I show them proof they twist you asking you to go in circles until you give up. Only at Blue Cube they confirm that it is actually locked. I put in u-mobile sim card into my B618 it work perfectly. Mode in aqua blue color and can log into 192.168.8.1 showing U-Mobile. The only problem is still I'm unable to activate listening port (port forward). I think B618 port forward is locked. Anybody know how to unlock it?Returning mine after just just 6 days of usage. Anybody know how to unlock it? When did you get your Huawei B618 router? I am guessing the older batches are not Simlock. I applied for mine on 19th May. If you do apply best have it check before you leave the Blue Cube center. Put in a different telco sim card in and if the Mode light on the router is a solid red then it probably is locked. Best put in the Celcom sim card in 1st to test the router is working as intended (all aqua blue colour lights lit up) and then put in a different telco sim card. Another way to test is to go to 192.168.8.1 of the router and the 1st thing you will see is router is locked if a different simcard is in. Hope Celcom don't decide to update the firmware of the router to be simlock after couple months in. Blue Cube didn't have the code to unlock it and it stays lock to Celcom according to the Blue Cube I went to. |

And even if Celcom decided to update the firmware to simlock it we still have the say to update it or not right?Hope Celcom don't decide to update the firmware of the router to be simlock after couple months in. But what I understand is that, when you turn on any telecommunication device, it will send a signal to like a server with a database full of IMEIs. Then it will check for ur device's IMEI inside. If found inside like a "locked" section of the database, then will return "LOCKED" or watever they want the server to return. Otherwise, it will let it run. That is what I read from last time somewhere on how IMEI blocking works. Can't find it right now. |

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ Jun 1 2018, 10:37 PM) Try to call Celcom Customer Care to unlock the website for you. They need your wireless broadband number to proceed with the service and it's done through individual account. VPN can bypass this process but a good VPN will incur some cost to give you the quality of the service. |

Hi guys,
Got the celcom home wireless but have a very odd behaviour. The upload speed is much lower than download speed. Also if i run a ping test for long enough, it will loss 1 packet and be back to normal. Any suggestions on what i can do? I tried making a report with Celcom, but they just called back and told me fixed, but nothing is fixed. |

Mine is opposite. I used to get >30Mbps download, ping at <25ms, since 10pm, I am getting like 1-2Mbps download and ping at 100ms, upload @ 30Mbps! Called Celcom and they opened a case. Hope it's just temporary!

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ Jun 7 2018, 06:00 PM) Can you do a Pros and Cons comparison between Digi Infinite 150 vs Celcom HomeWireless broadband 150 Platinum? Digi Infinite 150 is definitely much better than Celcom as it has 1TB normal quota, while Celcom 150 only gives me 150GB normal quota but it comes with 1TB Video Walla Quota which includes Netflix, Youtube, Dailymotion etc.The reason I cancelled Digi is congestion. Every night until 1am, I will get only 1-2Mbps download speed, whilst Celcom gives me >20Mbps download. For me, it really depends on your place's coverage to pick which is better. Just subscribed Celcom home internet 70 plan yesterday. Realized that the modem is simlocked now. Anyone managed to unlock it so far?
Another thing is, Celcom didn't provides convenient way to check internet usage. I tried the Celcom Life app, forever can't get the SMS for registration. Today I made another testing, to use my current Celcom postpaid number to register. I managed to login, and I can change the service number to my home internet number inside the app. But.... The app shows my balance as 0. Something's wrong with the apps I think. |

You need to bring your router to Huawei Service Centre @ Amcorp Mall to unlock the device. Alternatively, you can pay a small fees to Celcom Blue Cube to unlock your device. There are no way to check your balance via Android or iOS device. |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jun 13 2018, 08:20 PM) Just bring your router and official receipt of the termination from Celcom Cube to proceed with the unlock device. No charges for that since it's still under warranty. can i bring the router to unlock first before i terminate? worried if i terminate and the router can't be unlock. |

Very pissed off you can only check your normal data through celcom website but cant track your walla/video data.Another thing is, Celcom didn't provides convenient way to check internet usage. 1. set your internet bandwith on huawei modem at 3rd every month. 2. your total bandwith on huawei - your internet bandwith on celcom website = your total walla video. |

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ Jun 20 2018, 01:16 PM) Subscribe fiber broadband if you area has any. My area doesn't has fiber broadband hence I have to go with wireless broadband. of course my area do not has any fiber broadband. But they do promise us will come to install maybe few months later. So i wish to temporary get 1 wireless broadband. If the celcom modem could be unlocked then I am happy to pay the penalty fee when I can get the fiber broadband. Too bad now the celcom is locking it. They mention I could get the model after pay the fee, but a locked modem is like a rubbish. |

I have a very weird situation on my modem.
The modem mode light turns red yesterday till now. So I take out the celcom sim card and put it inside my mifi. It's working fine. Then, I try putting my digi sim card into the modem and it's working.. All the light turn green. After that, I put the celcom sim card back to the modem, the mode light turns red again. Do you guys have any idea what happen to the modem? I don't want to go to celcom center first.. I am afraid that they will sim lock my modem. |

But it will affect your speed for surfing and downloading due to public server being use.(1) Use VPN (2) Specify the DNS server address (refer to the attachment) Do tell us if it work or not. It does work for me |

Celcome Home Wireless user here as well.
Every few days / week I will also encounter some connection issue of being disconnect/reconnect. Only by calling CS to reset does it help. According to CS, it is due to congestion at the cell tower. Besides this I find Celcom as a whole isn't fully supporting this Home Wireless product line. Any issues or inquiry raised about this product through OCS (Online Customer Services) portal and they just say call that 1-300-11-3282 number. OCS doesn't gives a breakdown of video quota usage. Celcom Life app doesn't give any data quota usage details. It is like they launched this product without telling the rest of the company. So my gripe is mainly with their CS. Their speed is decent and I use it mainly for iflix. This post has been edited by edge81: Jun 28 2018, 02:10 PM |

ON B618 celcom unit OR Mifi........ It will take a WHILE before got signal if you want faster way...use HManager from phone to play around with setting mode AUTO...4G only or 3G before switching back OR select 4G FDD 1800 and FDD 2600 or CA 1800 and 2600 the signal will come back immediately if tweak that way. When I switch to Maxis, TM and UMobile I can watch Astro on the go with no problem through Chrome. Now I'm using TM to go online as I'm unable to go into internet with Celcom Wireless Broadband since yesterday even though the signal is full. Really feel being cheated and I'll be unsubscribing Celcom soon.Anyway what do you guys think of Unifi Wireless Broadband? |

You may refer to the TAC for more info. https://www.celcom.com.my/legal/terms-and-c...m-home-wireless Me: Of course you won’t. And yeah you can change your TAC at anytime. Thanks for your reply anyway. If you can help I don’t want to waste time reading the TAC, please tell me how much is the penalty for cancelling this wireless plan now? Celcom: You will be charged penalty of RM499.00 inclusive GST with reducing balance, which will be reflected in your final bill. Me: Understood. Thanks I love their professionalism! |

Do I really need Platinum Package to be able to use TVBox? I really wonder would Platinum Package enough for TVBox. Anyway does Astro has 4K and 8K videos? |

Celcom Gold only have 50GB data and 150GB video walla. For high volume usage, I don't think it is sufficient. Upgrade to Platinum package is way more better without interruption. |

I just subscribed platinum 150 plan today due to my new condo do not have Unifi service yet.. the speed and modem is really good.. the onnly concern will be 150gb only. However it is the most highest quota in broadband services. No complaints for it as RM 1 for each GB. Also additional 1tb video wall which may use for YouTube and dailymotion..

QUOTE(Charlize1103 @ Jul 17 2018, 02:55 PM) I have the same problem at my area. It has been more than 15 years and still no fiber cable. Seems like people around my area are happy with 4mbps max speed and I am the only one asking for fiber cable my condo definitely is in unifi ready location, but since it is newly built and need demand for connecting services.. but ya.. we will not know when they are going to connect it.. so celcom is better choice for me to use as wireless broadband.. Digi infinite 150 plan is interesting, but somehow digi is not stable for my area + i have to spend money to purchase a good modem.. much costly option for me.. celcom, maxis, unifi are very good coverage.. umobile only 3G available.. digi almost on par with umobile.. aiya.. |

QUOTE(Jeffreynsx @ Jul 17 2018, 09:43 AM) First month speed is promising. When come to subsequent months, you may realized the speed throttle down a lot. Do take note their marketing gimmicks. yes i also notice about this thing. but then, i dont have any option since unifi port is full at my house. sigh |
