Celcome Home Wireless user here as well.

Every few days / week I will also encounter some connection issue of being disconnect/reconnect. Only by calling CS to reset does it help. According to CS, it is due to congestion at the cell tower.

Besides this I find Celcom as a whole isn't fully supporting this Home Wireless product line. Any issues or inquiry raised about this product through OCS (Online Customer Services) portal and they just say call that 1-300-11-3282 number. OCS doesn't gives a breakdown of video quota usage. Celcom Life app doesn't give any data quota usage details. It is like they launched this product without telling the rest of the company.

So my gripe is mainly with their CS. Their speed is decent and I use it mainly for iflix.

Here my experience using it.
Whenever you take out SIM and insert back the sim OR Re-power OR reset thru HManager from phone.
ON B618 celcom unit OR Mifi........
It will take a WHILE before got signal

if you want faster way...use HManager from phone to play around with setting mode
AUTO...4G only or 3G before switching back
OR select 4G FDD 1800 and FDD 2600 or CA 1800 and 2600

the signal will come back immediately if tweak that way.


Still it cannot resolve the congestion issue

Lately the speed drop drastically from 98Mbps to 52Mbps. In few more months might be come Unifi and few more months become Streamyx

Your speed is still acceptable within this range. My connection speed drop from 60mbps to 7~8mbps at 9pm. Even this morning the speed is reached at 40++mbps. I had reported this issue to Celcom Customer Care and now waiting for their rectification in 3 working days.

Celcom reluctant to let me subscribe this package. It because my house not in their system but surrounding taman got coverage. They also bluffing me this broadband is not same and different coverage.

They using different cell tower and the coverage might be vary depending on the area coverage. Better check with them before subscribe the package.

oh yes.. same goes to me.. i can get 80mbps on morning.. but when it comes to night time.. it drop until 2-3mbps.. deng

May i know what kind of coverage signal this package use? I mean from your self observation on the modem. I assume it use 4g only.

Especially during this period of World Cup match, we can see a significant drop of network speed.

4G+ network if your area is near to their cell tower. Otherwise it will use standard 4G connection.

Thank you. Just check celcom coverage at my house. Still in 4g coverage but not in 4g+.

Just want to get some advise from all of you
Plan to get RM70 plan

Usually use Alone,
Some time will use YouTube abit, some time will play Astro Go abit.

1 month will crazy like 2 or 3 day play astro go like 10 episod

Is RM 70 plan is it enough?

Now using streamyx 1M, price almost the same, no issue in load YouTube and astro go.. just some time load others video for different website take long time to load

Sounds like RM70 plan should be good enough unless you download movie/series torrents like crazy. Surprise to know that Streamyx 1M can run YouTube and Astro Go smoothly. Anyway, lately when I click on any Astro channel (on PC Chrome) nothing happen. I tried clear cache, reboot...still nothing happen. Do you have this issue?

So far so good for YouTube loading & astro go via Ipad. Used to connect YouTube via TV too and work perfectly.

But when go to those notti website, it sometime loading slow or not loading.

Not used to watch astro Via PC, therefore can not comment on it.

for me, it loses one of the big attraction of this plan...
i watch netflix a lot.. then whats the point to being tie with 24 months contract but they change things around..
