They used to accept paywave using mbb terminal, until loob breakcon relationship, now new chatime work with cash only.

Crap, they rather inconvenience the customers due to a broken partnership???? Quickly reapply for a new merchant terminal la.

At least accept a mainstream e walllet like Boost, but they should really provide cashless payment as alternate method.

It's still normal for these F&B merchants to accept only cash I guess, look at Gong Cha, Koi and Coolblog for example...

Tealive has an edge over the others cuz they accept a few e wallets, but still not gonna patronize them lol.

Bro the discount given by WeChat not KK Mart. I just did mine at liao liao. The paper receipt still show original price but when I paid got discount.

Yeah, that's why I'm asking. I got set pin but bypass for low value. I showed my receipt for wechat also. Same price, no discount at all.

That why I am also boggled how come you didn't get the discount considering the promotion starts today. Good luck with your dispute and share with us what the CS says.

I already paid llaollao with WeChat Pay and got my RM 5 discount rightaway.

One reminder though, for e.g. your bill is RM 10 and even if you know after discount is RM 5, your balance needs to have at least RM 10 and not RM 5. The transaction will not go through if it is lesser than the original amount.

Second thing, make sure you reload enough before paying. Else if you only reload on the spot, you will need to wait for TAC to arrive to key in before reloading. Not sure about other banks but Maybank yes.

Thanks for the tip. Personally I prefer having to use TAC. Feel it’s more secure for me. Maybe they can make an option available for us to choose whether to have TAC or not. Like how Quick Pay can disable PIN for small purchases. I will disable the Quick Pay PIN when they have more merchants and I use it more frequent.

Other wallets feels like they can take my money anytime they like after I put my card details in. At least I know WeChat won’t.

I think the TAC is added by banks. I'm not too sure.
My China friend who stood next to me told me for China wallet, it is not needed, just 6 digit PIN and it will deduct from balance or card. I cannot validate because in China, I only use balance as my friend will transfer money to my wallet as I cannot link any China card. I just need to key in PIN and all went through (Malaysia is also the same if you have sufficient balance).

That's correct. KK receipt will show the original amount whereas wechat transaction history will show the discounted amount.

The KK mart cashier didn't know the promo too even though they have the banner outside. But it doesn't matter. Just do the usual scanning and the discount will be given automatically.
