I only saw Tealive logo.
What're the rest of the participating merchant beside KK?
*
That's why I don't understand why are the rest so shy to advertise themselves for this campaign.

Btw, a user can only redeem a total of 5 times during the entire campaign period and limited to once a day. This will control those abusers. 🤣😂

I wonder why Chatime is still stubborn to not even accepting an e wallet yet...

But oh well, good to know that more merchants are starting to accept Wechat Pay...
*
It is Chatime's loss for being so stubborn.

I wonder what happened to all the other merchants logo, like Mydin, KK Mart, etc?

Could it be because it's Wechat's idea of limiting the participating brands based on the demand from the people?

These participating brands usually have high amount of customers though...

And indeed it's Chatime's loss for not even accepting e wallets, personally I prefer Chatime and Gong Cha way over Tealive tbh, they gotta accept at least one mainstream e wallet for me to buy from them more often.

my doubt:

does it mean each user can enjoy a total of 5 times off REGARDLESS of which merchant, or can enjoy a total of 5 times off for EACH merchant?

I suppose is the former, right?

still okay, because previously I bought Llaollao voucher from Boost for only RM5.50 for RM10 voucher and used on 33% Wed offer. The voucher is actually RM8.50 on Boost, they gv me an RM3 CB promo.

so I prefer to use this WeChat pay on KK to get some groceries.

yea should be total 5 times of all merchants. Don't forget it mentioned that first come first served, which means they have quota limit for each or all merchants.

But the quota limit isn't mentioned in the T&C right? I have read through and found no such number.

"Every WeChat users can participate once per day up to 5 times during the promotional period."

This should mean that you can only use 5 times in that 5 participating store.

The quota limit I mentioned is, Buy RM10 get RM5 off is first come first served, which means maybe they have a limit throughout the campaign, for example : First 5000 transactions per store, or first 50000 transactions for all stores. No idea how since they didn't state clearly.

Yes, you might be right because those partnering merchants do already have a steady influx of customer base already.

As for Chatime, maybe the reason for not participating with WeChat Pay is because Tealive is already there. You know, how it is with business rivalry.

On a side note, I though Tealive was supposed to suspend their business operations due to a court order? I'm guessing they are just being defiant.

Problem is, Chatime doesn't even accept one e wallet, at least accept something like Boost, e wallet payments have a lot of potential when it comes to F&B merchants. If it's because of business rivalry, then there are more reasons for them to accept e wallets.

As for the court order, wasn't there a news stated that both of them already settled outside the court and Chatime already retracted their lawsuit? But I'm still never gonna patronize Tealive anyways, same goes to Gindaco and Llao Llao which are under the same company.

If my understanding is right, this means if I buy something from KK Mart for RM11, I only pay RM6? The RM5 is immediately discounted?

This is better than the other rebate offer, since I pay less upfront. That one have to wait next business day.

Yes, you are not wrong at all. This indeed is a great promotion for the early adopters. Luckily there is a quota system in place to prevent it from abuse.

I still prefer boost even though cashback is given later, cos I can buy meals worth rm20 with rm10 discount, instead of rm5. Moreover it had no minimum spend.
