you should use 1080p 144Hz and GTX1060 instead of 1080p 60Hz with GTX1070

If you're using 1080p144, your CPU will be bottlenecked & nobody wants CPU to be a bottleneck. I'd rather let GPU bottleneck. Luckily, you made a wise choice using Acer Predator XB271HU, which the CPU is not bottlenecked, but the GPU bottleneck.

I'm not sure you understand or not. There's no point stay with 1080p high refresh rate anymore, when you have a lower based clock below 4 GHz.

By the way, I'm using 1440p60 because no money to upgrade higher refresh rate like a G-Sync panel.

I only briefly go through anandtech article, it should not, as it's dedicated physical core.
From my understanding on the article, with DLSS it'll boost performance by some margin. The theory are with DLSS, you wont need AA at all, and usually AA cut performance. DLSS allow you to regain that lost framerate, while at the same time give you high quality AA image quality.
One weakness/restriction thou, it'll require game developer and nVidia to 'train' that game in order to work with DLSS.

Just wait for the deals for GTX 1070 Ti (below rm1600) or GTX1080 (below rm2000), hopefully in the next 2-3 months. But don't wait too long in case no more new stock. We have a bunch of people that had been waiting since before Pascal to upgrade, due to inflated prices thanks to cryptomining with GPU.

As for ex mining cards... I would consider them worth the investment only if

A) no OC, prefer undervoltage
B) less than 2 years old, with receipt available for warranty claim
C) Priced less than half of a new card.

Just the other day, Zotac 1070Ti mini was on promo for rm1699, probably to clear old stock without sst. Look out for deals la. It will come down eventually.
