Didn't buy. Prefer other brands like Asus, Gigabyte and etc. Other brand that I saw people selling a lot was the 1080ti aorus.. a lot selling those but not really cheap  laugh.gif
*
i see.. i thought Zotac had any unknown issue~ tongue.gif

QUOTE(craxors @ Sep 21 2018, 11:56 AM)
zotac warranty is good... so far.

Yup.. i claimed my 780ti Amp Extreme 3 months ago, and get replaced with 980ti Omega.. smile.gif
QUOTE(mbr @ Sep 21 2018, 11:58 AM)
It depends on budget and expectations

Imagine for same model, eg 1070Ti

Zotac AMP RM 2100, not great at overclock, a bit warmer if only 2 fans, performance say... 85 points

MSI Gaming RM 2500, can OC a bit, cooler than zotac, performance maybe 89 points after OC

You get extra performance for the extra money spent. But which one is more worth it, you decide.
*
i see.. i don't OC, usually i will get the cheapest la.. maybe i more cheapskate.. tongue.gif

QUOTE(kmarc @ Nov 28 2018, 12:27 PM)
So quiet here.

Upgraded my rig from 4670k to 4790k. Running at 1440p. No difference in in-game benchmark for ROTTR, Deus Ex Mankind divide and shadow of war. Warhammer total war 3 fps higher but appears better at cpu intensive areas. Can't test cpu intensive games as I either don't have the games or there's no in-game benchmark.

So I guess there not really much cpu bottleneck unless it is cpu-heavy games. Furthermore, my PCIE 3.0 is running at 8x due to the new PCIE nvme taking up a PCIE slot. So no difference on the rtx 2080 running at PCIE x16 or pciex8.

Of course, cant compare with newer generation processors but overall I'm happy with the upgrade. smile.gif
*
sorry ya.. want to ask.. i have 2080ti on pcie x16, then i have pcie soundcard, and pcie wifi adapter, will the graphic card drop from x16 to x8 or x4?

Which motherboard? It should spell out clearly in the user manual, on which slots at what speed.

Looks like 16x/16x for dual slot and 16x/8x/8x for triple.

My old z87 is 8x/8x for dual and 8x/4x/4x for triple. sad.gif

Noted~~

QUOTE(scchan107 @ Nov 28 2018, 01:49 PM)
Your soundcard and wifi adapter using PCIe 2.0 x1 right?

They are won't affect your display card at x16.

Or else it will be 16x / 16x / 8x based on the manual description
