Hi, I was lucky to stumble upon this thread as I was looking for information about the salary pay of a company I'm bonded to (to be honest I'm not even sure if it's a good choice to agree to the bond during interview).
But here is the question before I ask anything, is it sensitive to ask about a specific company?

You can ask. But whether you get a response or not depends on the other side.

Yes very sensitive. But I think you can ask by stating industry instead as it will not go too far off if is the same industry.

Oh, then I better not specify but the company was quite well known in construction industry.
So, what can a bonded employee expect of his/her salary when they start serving the bond period? Would be glad if any people working in construction industry can share their opinion about this (perhaps giving some advice as well).

Yes, but is for their Local graduates.

For foreigners, you need to compete with talent from other countries such as India, China, Myanmar, Philippines, and of course Malaysian.
They will use very expected salary to apply/spam to the job (everyone are desperate to come SG), so if you put higher expected salary than them, you must be unique and have the skills that others dont have.

FYI SG have very high competitive environment, but the good is there are a lot of opportunities.

Tips: Apply SME jobs and it will be less competitors.

drop out also can earn so high? make time think maybe education not important nowadays. all drop out like mark Uckerberg and bill gate and you earn high.
*
No. Please don't. That has to be the worst decision ever in history of worst decision.
No company want to hire dropout without experience. You wouldn't even get to interview session. I'm lucky there this small 5 person company willing to give me chance to prove myself.

You heard of Mark & Bill, but you haven't heard from the fallen majority. There more successful uni graduate out there. Stay in school.

I do get 1 month bonus but that was during my first year of service. After that no more. At that time my salary was 2500. Increment given when moving to a new project.
