after being raised from contract to permanent staff, do we get more benefits?

i heard from my colleagues that they mentioned there is at least rm500 increment if salary is below 5k. is this correct? or just a rumor lul

from my experience jumping over to 5 different companies, there's no difference between permanent and contract staff. tbh contract staff deserves to be paid more than permanent because they lack the job security.

Lets just say that my expected salary on Jobstreet is RM6k, and then this company is offering RM8k, since the recruitment agency says that the company only offers Rm6k to me, does that mean this recruitment agency gets to pocket RM2k per month from this company? Is that how it works?

The reason recruiter low ball your pay is so that it is easier to convince the employer to take you

Let say the recruiter bonus is 1 month against the candidate salary, as a recruiter will you choose to
1. Low risk of dispute and secure the 6k commission
2. Insist with 8k commission and you probably get nothing eventually

The best hiring is always deal with the hiring manager directly.
