*
I don't think anyone can answer what's sufficient for your needs, Indonesia living cost is extremely cheap after all

really? It is jakarta the capital after all.

Had a job offer in Jakarta as a team lead for 2,500 USD per month (1 year contract) last year, I was told it's high compared to locals for the same job. I'm sure alot of expats there get way higher but again, it's about what's the company budget for the position.

It's above average payroll wise, RM3.5k basic + RM1.7k allowance for a junior sales is almost unheard of.

Progress is something you need to evaluate yourself, i.e. where do you see this job leading you to or what's your exit strategy if you're switching lane after a few years.

Fresh graduate is the keyword regardless of your qualification. Pay your dues for a few years and you will be rewarded.

you should expect at least RM4000 for the experience.

Clerk is a quite low skilled job where the salary can't reach very high. You can try to go for Human Resource / Admin according to your degree. HR can definitely give u very high range of salary.

well these are my opinion, I might be wrong though.
*
Realistically, you can't possibly ask for 4k for a clerical job regardless of the experience.

3k+ maybe, that's including office administrative work.

Maybe bcos I have only SPM Very, hence they not willing to give more.

Now my manager ask me to take additional task.
Monitor buyers to work according to SOP and assist her during in audit.
Something like a leader for all buyers.
She didn't mentioned about promotion or salary increase.
I'm thinking how much should ask for increment.
*
I think it's reasonable to ask to increase to 3k consider your age and experience, since your manager entrust you to look over the team, it means she has certain confidence level in you.

Gotta consider the living cost is creeping up as well.

Job Title : Civil Engineer

Age : 22
Years spent in company : 4 months internship + 3 months probation
Company : C&S consultant
Industry : construction
Employment Level : junior
Experience before joining (years) : 0
Highest paper qualification/ education background : B.Eng Civil
Location : Selangor
Average Working Hours Per Week (incl lunch hours): 55 to 60 incl dinner

Basic Salary + Fixed Allowance : RM 3k

Hi sifus, any tips for me to grow as a structural eng? Not planning to stay for too long because of the lack of work/life balance (office culture). I do a few hours of OT everyday but the learning curve is steep because I'm handling a project on my own though I get a lot of help from seniors.

Would it be wiser to jump to MNC in the future or stick to smaller based firms?
*
I made a mistake by joining MNC for my first & second job, cause I was only a small part of process of the entire organization. If learning curve is your main priority, I'd suggest you stick with smaller based firm where you're able to have a broader view especially on project based, and more inclusion.
