Do you mean that resume torrent download which started half-way and you wanted to migrate it to XunLei aka Thunder?

Pretty simple. Just delete the .bc! extension from the unfinished BitComet download and then open the same torrent file with your Xunlei aka Thunder and then direct the files to be downloaded to the same folder. Then it will do a hash-checking and then pray it will resume from the % it stopped earlier with BitComet

It does not work that way my file downloads still start from zero%. Well at least it downloads.

Hmm... if so, how about changing the extension to Xunlei's extension?

I dun think it able to resume from bit comet file.. but bit comet able to resume xunlei file.. This i had tested

this can only work because most other torrent client do a hash check, so if u wan to change ur dl file using other client from xunlei, just change the file extension to extension used by the new client, it ll work..

the problem here is to force xunlei to hash check file from other client.. there someone who write bout opening two client at the same time, using 2 same torrent, they will up/dl to each other.. might work

nope, using 2 torrent client to download the same file didnt work for me. bitcomet somehow couldnt get me international seeders and peers. and miraculously xunlei's client could obtain me even from far parts of brazil. i really dunno how that could happen.

If you feel that your xunlei download is slow, try restart modem and grab a nice IP.

eh look the sifu is back.

Use HeheHunter's file pack, guide, etc on his sig. It frickin works. Downloaded an anime file for test, instantly the speed shot up to 20 kB/s (I was downloading 2 other files through http and mirc that time).

Edit:Okay, actually it does not, probably works only when there is a lot of local seeds? It only worked on this one single file .

Going to leave this pc for the night and see what happens.

i've read quite a number of post n i found out that most of the ppl here are saying Xunlei is very sensitve with IP address... is that true?
coz i got 150kbps before then noe i can oni get like 2-10kbps...
anyway to solve this problem?
it seems i can oni get good speed when i first use Xunlei...
after that all my download cap at 10Kbps oni...

U go look for your files at TDDOWNLOAD folder. The xunlei temporary files was .td extension. U juz rename it as:-
example.rmvb.bt.td
INTO
example.rmvb.bt.bc!
And then move the .bc! files into DOWNLOAD folder. When u move it, remember move the folder also(if have)
After done that, then u open the torrent using bit comet, then it will promt u for hash checking then u press yes.

I guess it depends on the ip as well. The speeds xunlei get is still superior to utorrent's.

Downloaded the same file, but xunlei was faster, going to do more tests, now on IP range.

All right, since there are only two choices of IP for me that I would use for bt, 60.48 and 60.54, looks like xunlei beats utorrent hands down.

Just to be sure, I tried xunlei with the exact same file and the exact same IP as well. Yep it is superior to utorrent. I guess utorrent would be my main client now, . Kudos to thread starter and HeheHunter.

the speed i get is varies... not even fast enough.

Maybe most of them is depends on community lar. But it's far more better than uTorrent or Bittorrent.

Bitcomet and xunlei win always.

uTorrent and BC had terrible speeds on my comp. Now that I'm using Xunlei, the speeds are far better... Sometimes can even reach max and maintained for quite a while...
