mine still ok ....living in aman suria connected to some cacated 124.85.xx.xx ip and some sohai 60.50/60.54 ip. mind u , those ip cannot play games......love online game asking them to migrate me back but they dowan.

Xunlei DHT peer return 250-400. still good for me. first time i sea overseas flag in my peers and seeders.

Can someone update the first post or something? Cause I wanna try out the "almighty" xunlei but dont know where to get the english one.

That's what prompted me to downgrade half a year ago. Never looked back. Happy with my downgrade, same rate anyhow.

@Fields: Xunlei is not invincible. It is temperamental for some and a total b1tch to others. To me it just cries a lot. All the best to you.

I'm having a good speed now, after a week of bad speed in Xunlei. Sumting which i've found out y my Xunlei hv miserable speed.

If you experience a stand still or bad speed..it could be ur BT file dun hv a lot of peers. So keep on searching BT file till u get it wif a lot of seeds.

Well it jz my 2 cents. It might work on u guys. Dun gv up on Xunlei.

When u dun hv good speed at the start, it will never hv good speed till the end. so next time jz delete it and search for file wif a lot of seeds...or in other words search and try the bt file till u see Xunlei can gv u good dl speed.

115 peer is not enuff? i had files with 1k peers and speed running at max 8kbs. somehow a letdown after having 100kbs for 3 days..

Weel.. im using xunlei and it returned almost 9k peer but the speed <15kb-10kb

ok i found out that my xunlei still running strong. its really picky on tracker. all tracker from shinsen sub running at slow speeds. so i tried using other subbers , walla. full speed 100kbs.

tho few days bfore , dwlding torrent from shinsen sub didnt run as slow as now. and the fact that they all use scarywater tracker anyway..

ok it is my mistake on my previous posts, what i intent to write is "more seed" and not "more peer". and I've corrected it.

well, i'm not expert in this field, i'm jz guessing more seed would mean good speed.

It seem it din work like tat....maybe some real expert can help?

It do trial & error dl wif BT file of a particular movie...it turn out that more seed don't mean good speed.
So I search for more BT file for that movie and try to dl few of it. I found out tat a few seeds also can hv good speed.
So maybe u guys hv to try every single BT file until ur Xunlei tell you have a good dl speed.

i've tried xunlei also, but the speed still slower than Azureus...

maybe no seed...but my xunlei still good...
sometime can got up to max speed.

My Xunlei dl up to 160 kbps, 1mb package here.

xunlei works for some and really is a $#@!$!%$! for others.
the only way u really wanna test xunlei,

1 - download the no ads version from hehehunter the sifu
2 - download the torrent file.
3 - u can use xunlei and bitcomet/azureus/uttorent/bittorrent/whatever blah blah there is like abc and all
4 - download the same torrent file using both the clients. xunlei and yur preferred. see who moves faster.

* theres a netmonitor if u dont wanna do it simultaneously. do it 1 at a time for 5 mins and u'll monitor the stats from there. for cheapskates and IT illeterate, your nokia phone has a stopwatch. count exactly 5mins and stop. then see the percentage on both your clients.

**Tip - dont forget to forward your ports if you're running on a router.

for me it works fine. heavy on resources like bitcomet but works well coz i actually see alot of international seeders and peers.

Occasionally one or two connections are totally unthrottled. For me, it's usually from users in Sweden and canada.

bleh, seems like my xunlei refuses to connect to alot of peers. Was okay last night, now its connecting to like only 4-10 peers out of 400+...less peers conected less speed!!!

How do you resume downloads from bit comet?
