most of the chinese forums that have their own ftp service ban their user from using xunlei
xunlei suck up all the bandwidth and it is not fair for other user

Then have 2 clients.
Use xunlei and flashget.
A simple combination.

As of lately, when i installed the new version of xunlei - found it under linkin's sig, i feel that my speed does not par with what its supposed to be.
hmmm, lemme run some more tests.

anyone running the new version ?

This XL always hang when i try to login, and many people still experience this problem, hope they will fix this problem

i am running the new version..v5.7.9.446 with ayu config
no problem so far

ok due to so many problems in the version i'm using which is 5.7.9.466
i've decided to revert it back to the version i first started with.

my comp, hanged 3 times in 1 day with xunlei active.
it also gave me unbearable low speeds.
better for me to switch over. lucky i still keep the file in my portable hdd along with HeHeHunter's En 2.0A file.

How about v5.7.9.472? Does anyone have any problems with this new version? Downloading this version and hope there's no problem...anyway HeHeHunter's blog has expired? Can't get the English Pack...btw where to download the Xunlei No-Ads version?

So far did someone using xunlei got problem?
I encounter a problem it told me to restart it and send the problem to the developer team, one day 3 or 4 times, don't know what happen

My cfosspeed ping shows 999ms (i guess it's more than that maybe a few K) when my housemate's XL is connected And worst of all, it's not even downloading at full speed, only at 5-10kbps.. omg

Clearly there's no way to control this software at all?? I am sick of have to unplug his network cable whenever I cannot surf net or play games online.. makes me feel like getting my own streaymx line..

but is it worth it to resort to all these?? just because of a leeching software??

previously i was staying together with my friends
4 of us shared a 1MBPs streamyx line if not mistaken

me n one housemate uses xunlei to download BTs and watever we wanted and the others all can still surf the net smoothly, including me and my friend

we did restrict the upload speed and also the download speed and the amount of items to be downloaded at 1 shot.

the setting was 5 or 10kb for upload, 200 ~ 500kb for download, can only download max 2 item at 1 time

there was no problem in surfing at all

the surfing speed at the xun lei site is extremely slow for me, is there anyone facing same problems with me? is there anything we can do to encounter this?

did you tweak your xunlei settings?

eh u guys that got prob with new version...

u all using client? cuz im on web XL no prob... no hang etc

btw how to check my ver on web anyway?
