QUOTE(way77 @ Jun 10 2007, 04:21 PM) First, assumed that u have an incomplete donwload file in Bitcomet, i.e. MovieA. hahahha thats a nice one, thanks you Then u add a new BT task download for that same MovieA at xunlei, and open both Bitcomet & xunlei program. U then resume/start to download ur MovieA file in this 2 program concurrently, u will then notice that the file will be upload from Bitcomet and download to xunlei itself. Just set ur upload limit in Bitcomet to unlimited to make ur file download more faster to xunlei, and u can delete that Bitcomet MovieA incomplete file & resume its download in xunlei |

QUOTE(wztech @ Jun 24 2007, 01:54 PM) I have a theory that I wanted to share with you guys........ You all know RapidShare right...........Well,based on my experience, whenever I can download from RapidShare with full speed,my torrent speed will decrease gradually...... But,when my download speed from RapidShare becomes slower, then torrent becomes a lot faster........ Just a theory though.......... lets say u hav 100kbps to spend, whenever u hav a number downloadin goin, it will be divided by the number.. it apply for all, http, ftp, irc, or any p2p protocol, such as bittorrent, so if u downloadin files from rapidshare at 90kbps, that mean u would hav a remainin 10kbps for other connection well, if im not wrong |

QUOTE(ahpek26 @ Jun 25 2007, 01:00 AM) What about upload speed? No need upload anything ah? Use common sense la. BitTorrent is not like Direct Download. It needs download and upload. Unless your using the 1mb download/upload package, then yeah, there's something wrong. its bout dl speedoh well. every type of connection need both peer to communicate, it like telling `i am receiving the files` or else the the other will stop sending till it gets a response to continue sending so if u use up all your upload speed on torrenting, u will experience lag on other appz that need to use the bandwitch, even for the bittorrent client itself |

this can only work because most other torrent client do a hash check, so if u wan to change ur dl file using other client from xunlei, just change the file extension to extension used by the new client, it ll work..
the problem here is to force xunlei to hash check file from other client.. there someone who write bout opening two client at the same time, using 2 same torrent, they will up/dl to each other.. might work |
