The original Toyo tyres are the best! Mine already 3 years and 60K km and still looks like it can go another 6 months. Such low tread wear. What else do you want?
*
You driving GL or high spec by the way?

No one doubts the performance and grip of the factory tyres. Not bad that you can last more than 60k, mine 51k already outerside tread botak, inner side tread flaking badly and the valve start leaking air. But afterall, my ride 90% of the time consist of at least 3 seats loaded and the journey has lots of start/stops, traffic lights, humps and corner turns. All factors that can wear down the tyres considerably.

The main issues with the t1s are the cost and the tyre roar. If not for trying out the hankook v12evo2, the price (very minimal impact on grip performance) is seriously value for money and the new added bonus of refinement improvement. Many thought/had the perception that this car has very bad insulation, but in fact, still not too bad, just the tyre pitch roar is just too much on our roads. Likely the road surface build in japan is different, not that noisy. I now turn 2 points down on the volume on my favourite radio channel compared to when the days the car had the toyo on.

I'm driving GL. Yes, the toyo tyres are noisy but that's the price for low tread wear. Quieter tyres are made of softer rubber so they wear faster.

many had encounter low mileage drive in city with full tank, there are many reason behind.

1. u pedal too hard, skyactiv works in good FC when u maintain the speed
2. your engine require carbon deposit clean, you can do high rev from time to time to clean off the carbon in the engine or use liquid solution
3. try use BHP or Caltex, i use 97 normally get more than 550km in pure city drive (gentle drive + some high-rev)
4. tyre pressure, i pump 260 on city, 270 when goes highway long journey
5. i dun use i-stop

Hmmm...I usually get 5xx km close to 600 km for daily LDP, MEX, KL-Seremban, OKR (all the hyperjam roads). But then again, my right leg is quite light.

Advise advise advise, always pump 4-6psi more than recommended rating if you go pump air after driving for awhile.

anyway, i get about 600km for RM90 fuel. not too bad. 90% jalan kilang. about 14.9km/l .
