anyone know when the new mazda 3 possible will come out? i saw internet teasing all the 2019 version but when will malaysia get it? Planning to get a car end of the year but still looking at option among c-seg as well as SUV. How is the NVH of the current mazda 3?
*
def not so soon, next year announce of new sky-X engine, all new m3 expected end of 2019 or 2020, landed in MY could be even longer

QUOTE(LazyKurosaki @ Aug 1 2018, 08:58 PM)
Can someone advise what's the FC for m3? Rm 40 petrol hw far cn u go for 100% City drive? My car is killing with only 150-180km for 40 bucks of petrol

Full tank around 380km.
*
full tank avg run me >550km with ron97 full city drive, depend on driving behavior

QUOTE(hanhanhan @ Aug 2 2018, 07:57 AM)
noted on this..

what are the options if do outside? sorry i'm car noob first time buying car.

was recommended Lumar / 3M (i think) by a friend.. saying that these 2 brands are like the rolls royce of window tinting..

how much should i standby for the tinting? is rm3k sufficient?
*
Do aware of some tint are too strong until smart tag could not be detected, best consult the shop before getting those high end tint

I'm using raytech MX, not the best in heat prevent but still ok for the price, no issue on smart tag

*
Hankook s1 noble 2

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Aug 6 2018, 03:40 PM)
changing 18inch tyre is damn expensive lol.. see when find time go test drive. i tested civic, even and lousy road it absorb the noise and bumps quite okay. just i feel like the car interior is more like a toy compare to mazda 3 and spec wise mazda3 better..
*
18inc rim fit the car look nicely, if u get the right tyre and right price is not that expensive, mine is around 3xx per tyre only smile.gif

I have the feeling that you kind of kena chop by the shop, top range v12evo2 225/45/15 also around that price......but past is past......

Since you're happy with this new set, good for you. In the future, just pop around mudah.my website to gauge the market price for a good price negotiation base.
*
u mean 18 or 15?

please recommend what price you can get the noble2 for 225/45/18 ? smile.gif

many had encounter low mileage drive in city with full tank, there are many reason behind.

1. u pedal too hard, skyactiv works in good FC when u maintain the speed
2. your engine require carbon deposit clean, you can do high rev from time to time to clean off the carbon in the engine or use liquid solution
3. try use BHP or Caltex, i use 97 normally get more than 550km in pure city drive (gentle drive + some high-rev)
4. tyre pressure, i pump 260 on city, 270 when goes highway long journey
5. i dun use i-stop

anyone felt turbo lag before? step pedal to the max but the car roar without increase in speed for awhile..
*
cant expect to drive the car like "sudden awake of jaguar"

the car will learn your driving style and adapt, when driving smoothly and sudd full padel, it require short time to goes into sport mode coz our car does not come with sport mode button.

the only way to activate is to switch to manual or full pedal (with a click), once in sport mode there will have no lag but instant zoom zoom power

power is not everything, 1.5L advantage for better FC for those who seek for slow pace drive, you dont race the car everyday and it is not a sports car

price for CBU is def higher than CKD, instead complaint about higher price, i'm more concern what spec bermaz had bring in, if generous enough I really dont mind the 157k price tag, eg: bose speaker, polymetal, red leather

I received latest spec for 2019 Mz3, so far no bose, no red leather, polymetal only for liftback no extra charge

high spec given are not bad, beside price is on high side, now reluctant if the upgrade is worthy from my existing mz3 2015 ckd HS Sdn

the only upgrade i'll get NVH improve and G-vec for a lot more comfy, all new fresh look and extra tech like MRCC, the rest would be almost similar..

not sure how to share here, basically for safety Mazda had never go short-cut, all variant come in full.

as for basic and high spec diff, majority are additional tech for road assistance (i-activesense), basic spec is kosong while only high plus spec come with full (inc MRCC)

basic spec do not have memory seat, high and high plus does have 2x memory seat

Here is the link to the spec sheet

So much hate for this car

Am i the only one excited to get this car?
*
Thanks for the upload, i'm too very excited and wish to pull trigger

knowing the price had increased world wide + CBU, 160k is steep altho I can accept it, but coming from 2015 ckd owner thats a big sum of $ going to burn for the upgrade

as far i watch many review, some say the steering is lack of crisp/slow compare to BM, prolly the car is heavier and tor-beam, but the amount of $ u spend u'd get the luxury interior and comfy which i always love to have

meanwhile, i'm still watching closely and CX-30 is coming soon which is much appeal to me altho the big slap of plastic (which i think i can MOD it easily)

IMO, car is good for those who are new to Mazda, for existing BM owner like me I think i'll just wait for FL or another gen, somehow changing car in MY is big $ burning unlike western country...

not to forget, if the car come with Bose, there will be no spare tyre, i believe most MY still prefer spare tyre than tyre repair kit
