Hi guys, anyone still purchase Berjaya Sompo insurance thru Mazda insurance agent? They have special insurance specially for Mazda owner call Mazda Insurance Package. Is it worth to renew with them?

They are fine actually, just ask for the lowest agreed value if you want to save money. I'm with them for 3 years despite making comaprisons, mainly because you'll be sent to mazda's very own workshop for collisions repairs.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Aug 23 2018, 06:16 PM)
This is merely my opinion. Given what I've heard and personally experienced from BS.. I will not be using them next time around. I know of 2 accounts where they refunded less amounts for NCD transfer and also refused to honor the sum insured agreement value. Reach time to claim, say must follow market value. So better don't over-insure your car value more than market value.. That'd be a waste... Pay less or shop around for better insurance.
*
Not sure about your side, but on my end down south, pretty ok. I had a moderate collision claim, pretty hassle free and the workmanship is good. No need to worry about 3rd party workshop cutting corners, all my repairs were down under mazda's own official workshop using mazda's parts.

I understand.. Haven't had an accident claim with them and merely sharing the experiences of close pals.. Which is why I advised him to go for lowest agreed value possible or market value.. Cuz based on their experience, they'll find a way to not want to pay the agreed sum and will insist on market value.. As for repairs, well yeah, I expect the should be the best, seeing as they are the official partner.

On the lower right corner of the dash, there is a 6 button cluster above the fuel cap release. There's a "RVM" button, press on it and see whether the instrument cluster also lit up green for "RVM". It is also at the right lower corner below the speedometer.

Your price not bad.

The factory unit is GS Q85. Varta is after market unit, and should be better as the rating as higher than the factory unit.

I have a first-gen Mazda CX-5 CBU unit. The noise comes from the front suspension bushings.I made complain to Bermaz and they told me Mazda acknowledged this issue and have an internal service note to fix this by replacing the bushings. I had mine changed together with my regular service. This was some time ago. After they changed the bushings, no more sound. Therefore, do check with your service center.

how many KM youve managed currently without any noise after the parts have changed.
normally for m3 only sound on wet rainy days. and mine only made the sound after 20k km of usage.

After the parts are changed, no more noise coming out from the bushings. Same situation here, noise is very noticeable when going over bump on rainy days. Service center told me that there is a service note to replace the bushings as this is a known issue acknowledged by Mazda. Got the parts changed without any extra cost. You should check with you service center and make sure they have the parts ready for your next service appointment.

My car is scheduled to replace this in the up coming week.
Also the same mileage, around or reaching 20k km you will notice the noise :|

They really should sort this, embarrassing as the Koreans and other car makes dont have this noise.
