Manja color need constant cudling aka waxing lol

Thinking of darker color wheels black/gunmetal/dark grey

Define a proper set wheel? Japs? Italian?

So taiwan cheap one kenot ah lol
*
Aiya, why spend money on replica taiwan rim when the OEM one is much more reliable?

Proper budget rim can be like those from Lenso and Advanti, got proper JWL/VIA testing; replica units just cast the seal without doing proper registration and testing process.

Oo got some naise design from Lenso i like i tot those are no no cheap rims hmm.gif

What caught my eyes is OZ’s assetto gara should be ori but the taukey wan 3.2k for it. It just the shop depan mata so very convini

Later go shop around fo sure pening dunno how to choose lol
*
Lenso not main main wan....

http://www.lensowheel.com/lenso-wheel_corporate.aspx

The assetto gara...nice choice also, but can try to tekan the seller 3k all in with GST.

Can also consider advanti hybris (got black colour) and a little cheaper than the sparco that you're eyeing on...

Or maybe, someone else's unfinished project with their yokohama advan wheel brows.gif icon_idea.gif :

https://www.mudah.my/Yokohama+Advan+AVS+Mod...+3-60228833.htm

or maybe this, can fit mazda 3 very well :

Omg poison mari!

The advan rs so many seen otr also coz everyone loves that design. I belive i know a place that almost got all lenso n advanti models.

Sigh.. i knew it will become like this
*
At least you got spare cash to buy poison for yourself. I can only poison by sight only.....

Yes, can see a lot of advan design on the road, but most are fake/replica. But those in the links i listed are real stuff.

If i were you, i may opt for the "unfinished" Advan AVS unit, spend a little on repainting and may still be within RM3000 budget. Some more, this AVS range from yokohama is much more rare than popular Advan Racing range. To top it off, it is lighter than the assetto gara by about 1kg per wheel.

Judging by your preference, you seem to like multi spoke wheel smile.gif

My suspension buka tutup by the SC fellors for 4 times already, still can't resolve noisy suspension problem.

I'm going to live with it until really close to the end of my warranty only make 1 last claim. Hopefully the part will be the final revision....or i manage to strike rich and get the suspension customised....

Other than the occasional ticking sound, the suspension noise is a major down point for this car. Regardless, it is a wonderful car to drive with.

Wonder how those GVC version fare....any GVC member can share their "suspension stories"?

Water based material, not as strong as the old school chemical based materials. What to do....environmental/sustainability concerns mar.....

Have to agree that the clear coat also not so thick/strong, but most modern bread and butter japanese brands also pretty similar. Get an automotive film stuck on your front bonnet and bumpers.

does coating really helps ? need current owner give opinion on coating , is the money well spent ?
*
If want to maintain/enhance the lustre/shine, water beading effect, yes coating helps. For protection against chipping, totally no, no matter what hardness level they advertised. Best way is apply automotive based film/wrap.

Even with such a physical layer of film/wrap, still can suffer some chipping; you think mere coating can really "protect"?

215 45 18 a little rare, more common can get 225 45 18. No harm using that.

If the error light is on constantly, that means count down to dying battery. You have about 2 months that time (although can be longer but risky). Just go to any reputable workshop and ask for Q85 or D23 size battery that can support stop start system. My price was from franchised dealer, so buy outside yourself likely to be cheaper. I was given amaron hi life 85D23L.

Amaron is not a Q85 battery. You can email the the Indian manufacturer and he will reply to you that it not s Q85 battery. It is only the Malaysian distributor claiming that it is a Q85 battery. Amaron is going to launch their own Q85 battery soon.
*
Yes, i'm aware of that. But since it is mazda's official franchise dealer's decision to let the cars use that particular line of product, i won't have too much concern about the possible after effects on the alternator or electrical components, as i'm given 18 months warranty, the worst case would be another new battery within a year, and from the product range spec, hi life pro range is by itself an "enhanced" MF battery.

It is not that the battery capacity is vastly lower and the voltage is much different. From my observation, the istop activation time is actually longer than the time with original battery (even when the car was new). As said earlier, so this kind of backs the fact that the hi life pro range's construction is "enhanced".

you're right, i made a remembered wrongly of the price they sold to me. Checked back my bills, it was 550. If you want to drive around, can get below 500 easily, around 450.

QUOTE(chungf1 @ Dec 16 2017, 06:43 PM)
Just get quote best price rm520 from VartaJB online seller Varta Q85 115D23L with trade in old battery.
*
When i wanted to change and asked about the 115d23 version of q85, they tell me don't have. Now instead, say have....what a bummer....should have a little more capacity (meaning last longer) compared to the factory fitted unit.

I'm using Amaron Q85. Do not that based on forumer here, the battery is not officially certified for istop function. But what I know SC in jb area is using this brand.
The shop is F1 Power located at jln rosmerah Johor Jaya.
It is near to the Ford Service Centre.
*
Is it amaron hi life pro range that you bought?

QUOTE(CSS @ Dec 20 2017, 11:40 PM)
Yeah better don’t buy the 2017 models for so little value. Next month you can get 2018 and a full year ahead. Probably score the same discounts as 500 is easy to find.

But still 2017 manufactured car laugh.gif

So I contacted Mazda SA, and he told me there is still one unit of M3 non GVC high spec left.

The rebate is RM7000.

Is it worth the rebates? What do the sifu think here? Should I grab it?
*
Put it in a summarised perspective, for 7000 discount, you're :
- getting the non facelifted car (almost 2 year old car)
- forgoing GVC feature (may not be a real deal breaker to you)
- forgoing some NVH refinement upgrades (this car is inherently noisy compared to competitors, every bit of improvement helps)
- going to have a high chance of getting noisy suspension (which many of us are facing despite going through multiple warranty claims)
- forgoing those cool looking LED headlamps (which will be very expensive to replace after a crash; the HID version already cost close to 4k per side)
- maybe getting 3 years warranty instead of 5 years for newer model purchases (better confirm with the sales manager)

On a side note, from my usage of close to 42k km of driving, despite the thread wear rating of 240, the factory equipped toyo t1 sport tyres still holds up with about 30% thread life remaining on the most worn tyre. Main sore point are that 2 of the tyres have pretty much worn out the tyre edge thread markings.

This was achieved with slightly elevated pressure (250-260kpa) and careful rotation at 15k km intervals (rotate tyre position based on wear instead of just mere front-back method). 40% city driving and i don't go easy on the turns if traffic allow.

Seeing how things go, lasting to 45k km in not impossible for me.

- edited mileage, saw wrongly, should be 42k instead of 47k.

Get about 1.5k discount. 1k from SA and 500 from the Christmas dip.

Was it goosld enough?

Better than what i got when i booked mine. You can press them a bit to give you tinting if possible, just don't hope they give you those higher end products.

Anyone looking for Varta Q85? Both 95D23L and 115D23L also got.

Want upgrade to S95 also can, but heat shield need to DIY a new one as it is 3cm longer.
*
S95 can fit? I saw the battery holding pan, one of the edge of S95 size battery will likely sit on the lip of the battery pan, at a slightly slanted position.

Hello, I just get my Mazda 3 yesterday but found out  both headlight got moisture inside.

Besides, the tyre very noisy when drive in highway.

Is it normal?
*
Headlight moisture will go off within a month.

This car is well known for less than optimal insulation compared to competitors, hence the road and tyre noise, need to live with it. Or if you have money to spare, can consult those accessory shop to apply additional insulation.

Mazda perhaps really overlooked the requirement this time.

Now that Q85 has 115D23L, hopefully it lasted better.

DIN60-ish size AGM would be a good upgrade, just that need to cut a small square on both sides of the battery heat shield for both the battery cable to drop in, since DIN battery posts are sunken in.
*
No mazda didn't overlook this, in fact i believe this is done on purpose for cost reasons. If can slot in S95, really can bump up the battery life.

115D23L seems like not available here, unless you got contact selling it.

AGM would last really well if placed on the boot/rear of the car. My mum's car is like that, only went through one maintenance charge few months ago on year 3 of ownership. Still cranks with vigour, compared to my old unit which went through monthly maintenance charge.
