Yeah better don’t buy the 2017 models for so little value. Next month you can get 2018 and a full year ahead. Probably score the same discounts as 500 is easy to find.

The more important question only you can answer is... Are you for 7K willing to ignore the latest model with improvements? Not even considering RV hits down the line.

Put it in a summarised perspective, for 7000 discount, you're :
- getting the non facelifted car (almost 2 year old car)
- forgoing GVC feature (may not be a real deal breaker to you)
- forgoing some NVH refinement upgrades (this car is inherently noisy compared to competitors, every bit of improvement helps)
- going to have a high chance of getting noisy suspension (which many of us are facing despite going through multiple warranty claims)
- forgoing those cool looking LED headlamps (which will be very expensive to replace after a crash; the HID version already cost close to 4k per side)
- maybe getting 3 years warranty instead of 5 years for newer model purchases (better confirm with the sales manager)

Better than what i got when i booked mine. You can press them a bit to give you tinting if possible, just don't hope they give you those higher end products.

no la , cx-5 CKD already painted in soul red crystal , meaning currently our malaysia plant able to produce soul red crystal , just that currently they focus on producing cx-5 , rush for cny also i guess, so i guess march they only start produce soul red crystal m3

if not mistaken CX-5 should be around same price range with m3, comparing side by side CX-5 is a better buy with more interior space and it is a SUV, more and more SUV on the road nowadays

but i still like m3 for its sexy sporty look
not sure if it is because of bermaz marketing, feel like m3 doesn't get the attention compare to CX-5

and there are more m2 and CX-3 on the road compare to m3

NJHL, I just got my loan approval for CX5.
And just get to know that only Mazda branches will receive the car allocation  in JUNE. Dealer will receive 65% in July. And Red soul & Ionic Silver is not in the list of Production.
For those insist to get car before SST, good luck ya.

If you are a reasonably careful driver you should not need any of the i-activesense safety features. The Smart City Brake, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Land Departure Warning and Blind Spot Monitoring will help a careless driver avoid accidents but still not essential for alert drivers.
