The GVC and non GVC are literally same thing right?

QUOTE(CSS @ Dec 20 2017, 11:40 PM) Yeah better don’t buy the 2017 models for so little value. Next month you can get 2018 and a full year ahead. Probably score the same discounts as 500 is easy to find. That instant rebates from the lucky dip seems tempting now.. Wonder can just bribe them to give me 3k or not. |

So I contacted Mazda SA, and he told me there is still one unit of M3 non GVC high spec left.
The rebate is RM7000. Is it worth the rebates? What do the sifu think here? Should I grab it? |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Dec 22 2017, 11:23 AM) Put it in a summarised perspective, for 7000 discount, you're : I took leap of faith and just booked m3 gvc high spec 2018.- getting the non facelifted car (almost 2 year old car) - forgoing GVC feature (may not be a real deal breaker to you) - forgoing some NVH refinement upgrades (this car is inherently noisy compared to competitors, every bit of improvement helps) - going to have a high chance of getting noisy suspension (which many of us are facing despite going through multiple warranty claims) - forgoing those cool looking LED headlamps (which will be very expensive to replace after a crash; the HID version already cost close to 4k per side) - maybe getting 3 years warranty instead of 5 years for newer model purchases (better confirm with the sales manager) Get about 1.5k discount. 1k from SA and 500 from the Christmas dip. Was it goosld enough? |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Dec 22 2017, 07:58 PM) Better than what i got when i booked mine. You can press them a bit to give you tinting if possible, just don't hope they give you those higher end products. SA straight away told me, give me cash and myself figure out what to do with it.In a sense, I like him because he is damn straight forward. Anyway, soul red no ETA. i can only wait now. |

I was told that after March 2018, Bermaz will bring back M3 CBU to Malaysia.
Means that the red color will be available and also price might increase by RM10k . I wondered if anyone have similar information or my SA just hyping it up? |

QUOTE(tesoon @ Dec 27 2017, 11:40 AM) no la , cx-5 CKD already painted in soul red crystal , meaning currently our malaysia plant able to produce soul red crystal , just that currently they focus on producing cx-5 , rush for cny also i guess, so i guess march they only start produce soul red crystal m3 from what i heard, they are pushing out cx5 for export as well. so that explained why they are not bothered producing any m3 red yet.i noticed that m3 rims are ugly if compared to m2 or cx-series. i like glossy titanium gray color on those car. |

QUOTE(amduser @ Dec 29 2017, 10:02 AM) if not mistaken CX-5 should be around same price range with m3, comparing side by side CX-5 is a better buy with more interior space and it is a SUV, more and more SUV on the road nowadays I just realized that for same price i can get high spec ketam. but i still like m3 for its sexy sporty look not sure if it is because of bermaz marketing, feel like m3 doesn't get the attention compare to CX-5 and there are more m2 and CX-3 on the road compare to m3 I'll just wait for M3 see if price become cheaper or more expensive. If more expensive, i'll cancel my purchase d. |

I'll be getting my M3 this June.
Now I've been thinking of doing 2 hardcore thing. 1. Tweak the Mazda console so I can use Android Auto. 2. Using ELM327/Forscan and modify the code so I can enable auto-lock and few other things. (I know OBD can do this as well) Did anyone do this as well? I think with what I do above, there's 50-50 my warranty going to void lol. This post has been edited by a13solut3: May 24 2018, 11:16 AM |

QUOTE(CurryKutu @ Jun 7 2018, 11:56 AM) NJHL, I just got my loan approval for CX5. Got my DCB last Saturday. Gave up on Soul Red already, most probably we will never see a red M3 until the M3 SkyActivX engine released. And just get to know that only Mazda branches will receive the car allocation in JUNE. Dealer will receive 65% in July. And Red soul & Ionic Silver is not in the list of Production. For those insist to get car before SST, good luck ya. |

QUOTE(apitzhnu @ Jun 14 2018, 09:51 AM) Hey guys, I'm interested to get mazda 3, but I was wondering why is it Hatchback model like macam no ine buy, beside the difference of selling price, what else other reason people not getting one? If you like sportier type then you can go for HB la lo. I like ass on car, so I get the sedan version.Oh and another thing, I know it's a general questi, but any owner facing silly issue from mazada? I'm quite scpetical now, since Almera has sooooo many problems, and it keeps coming back. Problem like aircond fan, bearing etc. Thanks! I also just migrated over from Almera to M3, but I don't have much issue like you said for an almost 5 year old almera. Still keeping the Almera and do interval driving. M3 still too new so I can't judge if there's any issue, but it's good car so far. |

QUOTE(kluseng @ Jun 20 2018, 10:31 AM) If you are a reasonably careful driver you should not need any of the i-activesense safety features. The Smart City Brake, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Land Departure Warning and Blind Spot Monitoring will help a careless driver avoid accidents but still not essential for alert drivers. anything that is helpful and ease the driver is a good feature. for me, rm15k is not a lot of money if you can afford such car. |

QUOTE(Ginny88 @ Jun 20 2018, 06:21 PM) Actually RM15K is quite a lot of money. it depends on what do people need lo, for me, most of the thing listed is unnecessary for me. every month can buy those thing, but car one time is use for many years. These are what you can buy with RM15K: Android high end smartphone - RM2000 Android tablet - RM1500 50" LED TV Sharp - RM1600 i5 15" laptop - RM2000 i7 gaming PC - RM3500 A3 Laser printer - RM2600 Nikon D3400 DSLR - RM1600 All the above just comes to RM14,800K. And you still have RM200 in your pocket. And we haven't included interest for borrowing the RM15K which will add another RM2K at 2.7% for 5 years. |
