I just did mine last week and it was super easy. Sharing my experience:

- I called CS and asked for redemption. I already prepared all my redemption codes, quantity etc prior to the call.

- Before redemption, I asked CS to transfer all my supp card points to my principal card.

- Just told CS the codes, they confirmed the number of points... And done!

- Received vouchers in post within 3 days and my Air Asia points were updated within a week (just today in fact!).

Super easy and efficient. Don't bother with other methods... This one is guaranteed logged into the system and processed.

My experience was. I just called the CS and told her i want to flush out my all my points on cash voucher. Just tell her what supermarket voucher available n let her do the calculation. Then just confirmed after she did the calculation n within a week. The vouchers delivered.

again, despite so many posts and warnings on this, still using the word "waiver". doh.gif

you can try call up the bank to ask for RM25 cashback to offset the SST.

every bank act differently and every bank customer get different answer from bank based on their record/profile.

QUOTE(hye @ Jan 14 2012, 01:04 PM)
T-8. Credit card SST Tax
A RM25 credit card SST tax will be imposed for every card issued or activated from 1st September 2018 onwards. Tax will be paid by card holder to the government and it will be collected by the respective card issuer/bank. No such thing as the tax will be waived by the bank as it is a mandatory collection by the government. Incorrect/misleading discussions (including quoted/replies containing such discussions) regarding this tax will have the respective posts removed without notice nor justification. Similarly members are encouraged to report these incorrect/misleading discussions for us to act on.

If the card issuer offers to pay on your behalf then it need to be stated/reported accurately as so. Defining it alternatively as a "waiver", "reward", "gift" or other similar words portrays an incorrect/misleading statement. Somebody is still paying for the tax although it is not the cardholder. If anyone can show to me a card issuer officially (in writing/website for public view) posting this as a SST waiver, please do so and I will offer a handsome monetary reward to anyone who comes first to show this.

If you even think there's no harm to post such incorrect/misleading statement in the first place, we consider finance related matters to be serious stuff.

3000 points can redeem rm30, so that's 3% from rm1000 reload not bad
