I just did mine last week and it was super easy. Sharing my experience:

- I called CS and asked for redemption. I already prepared all my redemption codes, quantity etc prior to the call.

- Before redemption, I asked CS to transfer all my supp card points to my principal card.

- Just told CS the codes, they confirmed the number of points... And done!

- Received vouchers in post within 3 days and my Air Asia points were updated within a week (just today in fact!).

Super easy and efficient. Don't bother with other methods... This one is guaranteed logged into the system and processed.

WOW! I just checked mine too and ALL my cancelled supp cards are still there. ARGH! No wonder my statement still shows all my supp cards, even though they've been removed from online banking. vmad.gif vmad.gif vmad.gif

Going to call tomorrow and cancel my principal and just completely cut ties with them too. Btw, what e-mail address did you use to correspond with them? I will follow up my call with an e-mail so that everything is in writing.

My cancelled supp cards have finally been removed from my ECriss after I emailed a complaint to AMB (didn't CC BNM) though.

I'm not sure, but my "date balance updated" in CCRIS is always at the end of the month. For Maybank, my latest update was 30/09/2018 according to the report. I think the updates are quite frequent (e.g. max 2 months delay).

Just got a call from Ambank offering 3.3% cash advance on RM80,000 (half my CL). They were advertising it big time and saying things like "you can use the cash and put in FD, now got many offers above 4%!".

I never take up any CC offers unless 0% and cut the conversation short.

Finally bit the bullet and cancelled my WMC principal plus supplementary before card anniversary. Haven't used this card in the last 6 months but kiasu held on to it "just in case" I needed to bring extra PPL guests (which never materialised).

Glad to get this card off my plate!

I hit the RM2k on each 2 cards, and also called CS to double check and record the MCC codes.

My ShopeePay reload was counted according to CS and also the tracker SMS.

Hi all,

Did anyone sign up for the "Get up to RM500" acquisition campaign from 1 Apr to 30 June 2020? The one where sign up for conventional and Islamic and can get RM200 per card upon spending RM2k each within 60 days?

I signed up and spent in June (within one week of activation) ... And cashback supposed to be paid latest by Nov/Dec. Nothing received yet.

I even got an sms in June or July saying my spending had been met.

Just wanted to check if its normal for Ambank to be slow or miss paying out?

Hi everyone, I just got my Bonuslink VS card and spent 2500 for my first statement cycle for online purchases. Checked my statement and was only awarded the basic spend BL points instead of 30BL for RM20 spend.

Just checking if the "spend RM20 for 30" Bonuslink points should be awarded automatically in the first cycle or if it's calculated and credited later? Couldn't find any info in the TnC.

Just sharing some info here:

I'm an existing Ambank CC holder and applied for Ambank Enrich CC via the app (did not need to put e-mail address in the application). Already received my Enrich CC card.

My Enrich account e-mail address differs from my Ambank-registered e-mail.

I found out a NEW Enrich account was created under my Ambank-registered e-mail, and I can see my Enrich CC linked as a "Co-Brand card" on my NEW Enrich account portal.

When I called CS, then told me that the Ambank CC e-mail MUST be the same as the Enrich e-mail, and there is no way to override the SOP.

Hence, I was told that I either have to change Ambank CC e-mail, or Enrich e-mail.

I opted to change Ambank CC e-mail and will need to wait for one week for the changes to be updated and for the accounts to be linked.

CS was very helpful and shared that she had not gone through this process before, so it should "hopefully" be OK.

Will update here next week if I successfully manage to link my Enrich CC with my EXISTING Enrich account.

Update for those with issues of different Ambank e-mail from Enrich e-mail:

I called the Enrich Premier Line and received a very helpful response. Basically, Enrich can easily "merge" the accounts / transfer the Co-Brand credit card upon receiving call/e-mail instructions, but there is currently a system error which they are investigating and may take up to a week from now to resolve.

Summary of what to do if you're in this situation:

1. Write / call Enrich and request for an account merge / transfer of CC

2. While they are working on the fix, can use the Ambank privileges (lounge access, flight discount) on the "new" account

3. Enrich will e-mail you when the "merger"/"transfer" has been completed and you will see the Ambank Card in the Co-Brand Card section in your "old" account

4. No need to contact Ambank as Enrich will handle everything at their end
