As expected, last week i did ask techbug on the stock availability and they mention that 2nd batch already received.... i assume your already the second batch.... book mine after your...i should be receiving mine after mid of nov...when did you book yours with techbug ?

Red tint ?
I though samsung had already put some improvement update on the red tint... same issue as S8 when it was launch....

Buy T&L offer only 1 year warranty as suppose to 2 years given by google ...

I saw in garage sales, mobile2go has pixel 2 ready stock at 3499.
Anyone has experience buying from them?

I would like to share my personal battery life/consumption for the Pixel 2 (not the Pixel 2 XL).

In summary, battery life has been incredible for a 2,700 mAh battery.

It's on par with my OG Pixel XL (3,450 mAh battery). For comparison, my previous record for my Pixel XL was 7 hours 9 min SOT with 17 hours 19 min standby at 6% battery left remaining.

My default settings are:

- Location set to ON
- Bluetooth and NFC set OFF
- Brightness set to 30% with Adaptive Brightness set to OFF
- 2 x Google accounts in active sync
- Google photos backup set to OFF
- 60% LTE and 40% on Wi-Fi throughout the day
- Wallpaper set to black for AMOLED screens
- Silent mode set to ON

i remember last time when i change from sgs3 to nexus 5, i just signed in to my google account and all my apps and data transferred itself

Apparently, DirectD will bring in the Pixel 2, so far no mention of the Pixel 2 XL yet.

4 weeks after upon receiving the pixel only. google will give the redeem code to techbug.


so expect for 2-3 months time only those pre order from techbug will receive their google home mini

I ordered the morning after Google launched this phone.


I bought tempered glass from techbug, but apparently it doesn’t fits well, common for earlier batches of tempered glass.. however i have clearcoat / mobile outfitters installed so now stick with that temporarily.

For case, i purchased google official case from techbug and despite it is a lil bit on the pricey side, is excellent!

Correct me if wrong, but I dont recall techbug will provide the free Home Mini.

they provide but extra shipping fees required. when i enquire abt it on oct 12.
