Are they local or foreign shop?
Since now pixel 2 has 2 year warranty
Can we just send back to lazada to claim warranty or ship directly to t&l shop?
*
T&L only give you 1 year warranty.

Just a piece of advice for those considering/have already purchased the Pixel 2 XL (not the smaller Pixel 2), do remember that you are taking an informed risk (aka phone lottery ticket) buying a phone that both media and end users have reported multiple known hardware issues such as:

1) Heavy blue tint when viewing at wide angles (especially obvious with white backgrounds)

2) Screen graininess at with screen brightness set to low on white backgrounds)

3) Screen burn in after a x period of time

If you are lucky to receive a unit that is defect free from the above 3 common hardware related issues during your 1st week of ownership, great!

But if you are one of the unlucky ones to receive a unit that has all the above, be prepared to waste weeks (if not 1 - 2 months) & frustration in returning your unit for an RMA through your trusted local reseller who honors returns the first time round for free.

Even with a RMA, you may potentially receive a lemon unit or hit jackpot with a "perfect" unit.

Being an early adopter will always come with a small percentage of risk but if you acknowledge this and can handle the consequences that follow at a hefty USD850 price tag, you have nobody else but yourself to blame. smile.gif

1) Heavy blue tint when viewing at wide angles (especially obvious with white backgrounds) - It is unavoidable, we all know every XL 2 phone have them, so had to live with it those who are ready to buy XL devices but our eyes will get used to it after sometime of using it

2) Screen graininess at with screen brightness set to low on white backgrounds) - based on the review, you had to set it really low to get those screen graininess...if you using a normal brightness condition, it wont be noticeable ( unless your nit picking on it or purposely looking for it), i believe this is unavoidable too.
Here my take on those 2...not sure about burn in though...just mix in bag case but i believe google is doing some update to reduce the burn in effect

Blue tint? I dunno, but based on my unit, I dont see it as an issue. Just hv a look at the picture between my pixel 2 xl and note 8.

I prefer this 'blue tint' over warm tint of samsung amoled.

nope. I schedule my blue filter from 12am to 6am every night.

I bought a tempered glass from techbug, but honestly, the quality is quite poor. As I don't have any casing yet, I applied clear coat / mobile outfitter for the back and edge side for temporary protection against scratch.

Nah, just helping to make others aware of the hardware related issues for the Pixel 2 XL.

Congrats on getting your Pixel 2 XL! Fingers crossed that it'll be free of any problems!

It looks like your unit doesn't have a very strong blue tint which is great!

P.S: I've seen a couple of videos/read user feedback that battery charging on the Pixel 2 XL is relatively slow. Almost taking 2.5 hours from 0% --> 100%. Can you kindly confirm if this is true in your case?

Additional reading that battery charging on the Pixel 2 XL:

"the HTC Pixel 1 Mini used multi-stage Li-Ion rapid charging. Two stages of constant-current, followed by a final constant-voltage stage.

However the LG Pixel 2 XL uses a SINGLE stage of constant-current, followed by constant-voltage. This seems far less "optimized".

Nope. My Pixel 2 (thankfully) doesn't have any of the 2 above issues. It only affects some models (if you're unlucky) - not all.
