T&L pixel 2 sold on lazada only 1 year warranty despite google giving 2 years warranty.

I've been on stock android ever since my first android phone, which was Gnex. Then upgrade to N5X, awesome camera, good performance, nice screen n front facing speaker but then bootloop 

Heard Pixel 1 got quite a few problem, like faulty microphone, battery 30% shutdwon, halo effect and got chance to bootloop too (is this true?)

So consider S8 since if anything happen easier to get spare part here, and also due to the design n decent camera.

But my heart is really telling me to get to Pixel. But I usually use phone for 2-4years, not sure if the Pixel can serve me that long

Blue tint? I dunno, but based on my unit, I dont see it as an issue. Just hv a look at the picture between my pixel 2 xl  and note 8.

I prefer this 'blue tint' over warm tint of samsung amoled.

nope. I schedule my blue filter from 12am to 6am every night.

I bought a tempered glass from techbug, but honestly, the quality is quite poor. As I don't have any casing yet, I applied clear coat / mobile outfitter for the back and edge side for temporary protection against scratch.

Ya they are very fast since all the cutting are online from their server.

Talking abt Google "throttling" batt charging to increase the lifespan on batt... I don't see OnePlus is doing it and their products are just fine. I'm jealous with my wife's OP3 btw.
