headphone jack not important?

u all r getting the smaller pixel 2 or the pixel 2 xl? i'm still undecided!!! prefer smaller ones but since not changing phone for a long time.....just worried the pixel 2 will be so outdated later...but pixel 2 xl is like....too huge for one-handed usage but comes with a more 'modern' outlook ....not sure if all apps gonna be 2:1 as standard in near future

Google Pixel 2 XL screen is quite poor. But it is a better screen than the smaller one.

The Pixel screens are less bright with comparison to Samsung Galaxy and Note series.

The colors are not too accurate and lack punch.

The best phone screen today iPhone X. Best camera Pixel 2. Best features Note 8.

If you can live with a poor screen, get the Pixel 2.

hit or miss...pixel 2 is much safer, less screen issues, less speaker issue also..just that awfully looking hugebezels...at least make it slightly curved for aesthetic purposes la walao google...

Here's my take on comparing the Pixel 2 XL & Pixel 2 now that i have both in hand.

- Pixel 2 is more ergonomically friendly being held/used in one hand and placing into your pockets compared to the Pixel 2 XL which requires you to do finger acrobatics

- Pixel 2 (2,700 mAh battery) charges much faster than the Pixel 2 XL (3520 mAh battery) easily making it a better choice when wanting to do a quick charge for 15mins when it is low on battery

- Pixel 2 and Pixel XL's battery life are almost the same with one another during my daily use. Both phones are able to squeeze out 8.5 hours of SOT over 1.5 day's usage. In my opinion, the Pixel 2's battery life is truly amazing for its size

- Pixel 2 XL's 6 inch 18:9 aspect ratio screen is a great a screen despite its overblown media/PR P-OLED flaws. However, not all native Android apps support this aspect ratio resulting in black letter boxes appearing at the sides. The Pixel 2's standard 16:9 aspect ratio guarantees full screen coverage/immersiveness

In summary, the Pixel 2 (5 inch) is a highly underrated device and its price-performance ratio heavily rivals the Pixel 2 XL.

At the end of my testing, i've decided that i will keep the Pixel 2 XL as i love large screens at the expense of slightly decreased battery life.

Built in feature no. But u can use substratum and apply dark/black themes. Available for non rooted users as well but u need to buy Andromeda. If you know how to use ADB well, then it shouldnt be an issue.
