But my kampung support 8mbps streamyx.
But.. but.. me not live there.

My stupid asus dsl-n12u buat hal. Used legacy riger modem can reach 7mbps. But after plug in asus modem, connection really high ping and reach 300byte only. Any solution? Or my asus already kaput.

my friend say streamyx 8mbps user can get 20mbps. TM will use vdsl technology. at cabinet tm will tagged as VC. waiting

Depends on location, demand and distance from that VC cabinet as well. Even you’re currently using 8mbps now, it doesn’t guarantee that you will definitely able to subscribe for unifi lite 10mbps. Mine is worst, 90% of the cabinet at my area already tagged as VC, but my cabinet still same as before. Reason: wait for 2019 project.

What is your upload speed at speedtest? Is 0.11 - 0.20mbps normal? Download is around 8.5mbps.

I cannot stream youtube hd videos on my tv without any lags via wifi. Modem is currently upstairs. Signal is at min 70%. Is it due to few connected devices on the modem itself?

Anyone here with ipv6 working? I tried to contact TM and they keep treating me like a kid, saying that there's no reason for you to use ipv6 .-.
It used to work for me before i get free upgrade to 8mbps and I get quite nice surfing experience with ipv6

There’s a few forumees here that have IPv6 working, but I am inclined to agree with TM. There no point for you to use IPv6, especially in Malaysia, as the implementation is still really basic, and not fully ready.

for now just use ipv4, as there are issue with tm ipv6 implementation with several site like youtube and others.

How you know the cabinet is tagged as VC? Got any marking to look for?

Yes, the marking is obvious. Every tm roadside cabinet must have marking to identify it.

Thanks for the info, gonna check it. Hopefully it's already have VC and just TM office and agent that still not updated.

Is some part of your area got fiber optic unifi already?
If that so, your area falls under hsbb project. So, there’s no VC cabinet will be installed there. VC cabinet is for subb area only which still use the existing copper infra. You should receive ftth unifi in the future if not for the meantime.

Beside my taman already have full fibre until 100mbps.

My taman still copper. I contact TM they say don't even have lite, and don't know when will upgrade to ftth or even vdsl...

Update, the cabinet cannot see any marking. Only full of money lender ads stick all over the cabinet.

I just log in to my unifi acc and then press upgrade 4mb to 8mb, free days later tm call me, they offered me RM140 for 8mbps while my current package is RM88 for 4mbps, then i asked any promotion, they said no, thus i said forget about it.
After that, few weeks later, i felt my download speed become faster then i log in to unifi acc again, BOM! i get free upgraded to 8mbps...
