I installed astrogo on Nvidia shield but cannot see which tiles I select

Please explain further. You mean when you click on the show, you can't see anything ?

Nvidia shield remote don't have cursor thus if I try to use the arrow, the icons doesn't highlight which is active one

Then you need to find an airmouse which works with Nvidia. Simple as that.

Any airmouse recommendation?

No recommendation from me as I don't have a shield but you can search internet ( such as shield forum ).

My review is that it is a very good box and well worth the money if you’re just using it for Astro Go and unifi@PlayTV, and also works for ahem apps well. I would suggest this box over any of the RM300-RM400 boxes for sure, and it is a huge improvement over the original TX3 and TX6. One thing to note, the WiFi ain’t that good, but I’m using LAN, so no issues for me.

i hv no doubt this one is the most cost effective box for astrogo and other common popular apps at this time.

With or without root?

Root switch, meaning with a click of the remote/mouse, the root program is renamed from su into something else. And another click will bring it back.

The root checking programs are usually very non-exhaustive, once the 'su' is renamed, it is treated as root is not present.

Sooner or later this root switch will be non-effective when security consciousness programs perform more exhaustive search.

Tx3 mini was the first box i know to have the root switch.

Been almost a year now, working fine, ok.

This is because the root checking programs such as Play Store, AstroGo, TM PlayTV, ..... are checking root based on file names. If they want to get nasty, they can easily incorporate more nasty checks.

Experience first time last night
Half watch watching astro go, ads pops up cover the whole screen. Have to X it and continue. It happens every few minutes

Anyine encounter this?

Sounds like you might have installed some spam robot apk.

This is not coming from astrogo app but from some other.

Isolate, remove apps one by one if u need.

Didn't install new app for the past one week
Don't know which app to uninstall
