mind to share with me, how long is the battery life of ur hp notebook?
my 6months old dv6124tx can just stand for about 2hours.Is tat normal?

when u r charging battery with ac adater,the brightness will be max...unless u already lower down it by pressing fn key....

but when u plug out the adapter,it will automatically switch to lower brightness.....to save battery life

so what u mean by sometime?if u want the brightness to be same even u unplug the adapter,do configure with the power setting under control panel...

same wif me too...hehe...bout 2 hours or slightly more when i turn off my bluetooth and aero with windows side bar....

AERO and Side Bar sucks batt like mad....

turn that off and you're good to go...=)

hello all, im no dv6000 user but i have dv9000. just want to ask anybody solve the webcam problem?

also the HP registration always pop-up even i already click register online and i select the dont remind me anymore button but still he pop-up

I have a few question to ask u guys, my warranty is going to end(this november) so can i extend the warranty? do anyone did that before?

Do anyone here experience a sudden hang. it is very sudden and it jus last for like 10seconds. musicc that i played will be jagged like " i luvvv i luvv i luvv" for 10 seconds. i brought the laptop to HP center and the problem is not fixed because i'm afraid the technician misunderstood my report. I stated there "hang", so he just format my laptop thats all. I just wan to know do any 6126TX user here faces this problem? i'm goin to bring it back to HP ccenter during my midterm break. haizz.. but the service is just marvellous. they will call u and tell u the current status of ur lappy, once done they will call u again and tell u " we are open till 5pm, u can come to collect it before this hour" huhu.. i like that

u can only extend 1 more year till november 2008 via post warranty about rm200-rm300

i tot we can only extend our warranty within 90days from the date of purchase..

u can purchase care pack at any time but the care pack will be more expensive than the same purchase within 90 days.

I own a 6126tx but didnt notice any lag in music playback.

well..it is not lag... the laptop hang.. and i'm sure that it is not software hang(windows) because HP technician just did a recovery for me and the problem still exist.. and it is becoming worse,with more hangs compare to few months back.

are u using vista or XP?? just wondering...if you're using vista, i suggest u switching back to XP cause for me, my vista keep crashing on me

people, im thinking to upgrade the memory of my dv6203tx, currently running at 2x512mb.

what type if speed should i buy? PC2700? mhz? im kind a noob in this thing. can someone help me whta kind of ram (speed and so fourth) were acceptable on my pavilion? what i know, is just it accept max 2gb

u can buy 2 pcs of 1 GB DDR 667 SODIMM RAM and trade in the 2 pcs of 512 MB DDR 667 RAM

hey guys... mayb i just ask, any dv6000 series laptops below the price of 4k? im considering a pavilion and a dell inspiron now at the moment...
