i've tried recording a video but there seems to be no problem with it.
i use quickplay to record it.
owh wait.. i just notice something weird when i check my webcam driver... in my device manager
there are 2 items under 'Imaging Devices' in the device manager one of it is the HP Pavillion Webcam with a yellow exclamation mark on it
and the other one is USB video device
that's weird.. i wonder how it got to be there o_0 and it seems as if i'm not using hp default driver for my webcam.. how can that be?? i'm confused....
well anyway.. maybe your problem has something to do with the webcam driver??
btw.. what's the operating system u're using? vista? xp?

Here is the solution for the recorded video in HP inbuilt webcam playing very fast
Please follow these registry steps to solve the issue where Integrated Web Cam is playing back recorded video in fast mode. This is just a workaround and a Softpaq will be released very soon.
Add registry key following below instructions:
1. Type RUN in search field on Vista programs menu and press "Enter" to launch it.
2. Type regedit and click OK to launch the registry editor.
3. Go to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTES\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{6BDD1FC6-81OF-11DO-BEC7-08002BE2092F}\0000
4. Click "Edit" in the menu, select "New" then "DWORD"
5. Type UvcFlags as the name for the new word and press "Enter"
6. Right-click "UvcFlags" and select "Modify" in the menu
7. Type 10 in the box then click "OK"
8. Close down registry editor and reboot the system
Hope the above steps would reslove this issue
