lol I can't believe I'm still using this laptop

first main problem is overheating
I took it apart, clean the fan and change the thermal paste
now it's working good

next problem is the DVD drive which won't read and burn DVDs
solved this one too
took apart the DVD drive and smear some WD40 to the 2 steel that support the moving laser head
problem solved!

but if I have the money.. I won't think twice to dump this lappy rolleyes.gif

Guys, I also use dv 6000, got 2 questions as below

1)just wondering if anyone change their hard disk before? if yes what is the max size can this laptop take?
2) Has anyone used 4gb of ram on this laptop?

Reason for this question is because I am going to do dual Boot which will be xp then win 7

Thanks Guys,
