Resetting is not solving the security issue, as far as I know.
True. If I have that router, I would NOT use it until I'm 100% sure that the problem is fixed. However, my trust in D-Link routers is very low at the moment as they have had multiple vulnerabilities reported in recent years. I would just use another brand of router instead.

Well, unfortunately, if you are using that particular router, and your current IP address is listed somewhere as having open ports, you are still vulnerable, even if you're on Time.
