QUOTE(Criss Malvory @ Sep 19 2017, 01:20 PM) haha ive waited for 5 years mate still to no avail. quite saddening tbh. TM can go for Fibre To The Building/Cabinet, then use existing copper wires to provide Unifi (VDSL2 technology). It is more cost effective for TM to keep only Fibre networks from the exchange to your street, instead of maintaining 2 networks (copper/ADSL and Fibre/FTTx).well assuming my area is a flat instead of an apartment. and the area quite f**ed up in a sense where you also dont wanna live here. |

Not sure, but you will lose your HyppTV, free calls to TM numbers and Upload speed downgrade to 5Mbps. |

QUOTE(SilentVampire @ Sep 19 2017, 11:19 AM) You could check: For those who are using TP-link wifi routers by TM, are you guys disabling the remote management. Replace the Xs in this link https://www.shodan.io/host/xxxxxx with your public IP address. A result of "Not Found" is best. If anything is listed as open, I wouldn't worry about it if you have disabled remote management. I enabled it because I can remotely troubleshoot for my parents if required. It is better to keep your existing plan. The upload speed of extra 5Mbps is useful, and the unlimited tm to tm calls also very good for parents who are likely to make calls. This post has been edited by westlife: Sep 20 2017, 09:16 AM |

I have it enabled but I have changed the default username, default password, and port. It might not be a security measure but it is definitely something at least. If you want to enable it, make sure to do as I mentioned above.I enabled it because I can remotely troubleshoot for my parents if required. |

I have a NAS which has computer name, eg myNAS , previously I'm able to login to the NAS by typing http://myNAS/ which will bring me to the nas website.
recently something strange happened, when I type http://myNAS/ in the browser, it brings me to some webpage with advertisement like traveloka and said the http://myNAS/ is an invalid address now i need to type the ip address of the nas like 192.168.0.5 to access the website. what could be the problem , or is this because of the DNS of unifi ? anyone experience this before? |

RM129 + 6% GST only, triple play, internet+vobb(tel)+hypptv everywhere(any package of your choice+free channel) |
