Want to survey does anyone here downgrade from 50mbps to 30mbps so can save RM40/month?
Current paying RM 179 for 50mbps (free upgrade from 30mbps & no free call) and not tie to any contract. |

QUOTE(oktuck18 @ Nov 16 2017, 06:51 PM) Yes, this is what i've done. "Downgrade" from 50Mbps (RM179/mth) to 30Mbps Bonanza package. Saving of RM40/mth That’s what I wanna do too. But now got the new rm10 add on, in dilemma whether to upgrade to 100mbps or I'm OK with 30Mbps since 50Mbps was a free upgrade from TM. Downgrade to 30 first then upgrade to 50 so pay the price of rm149. Need to gather more info first as the plan just launched . |

QUOTE(arrsoo @ Nov 16 2017, 10:41 PM) just came back from TM Point Quill City Mall and did the RM10 upgrade... wow that's fast and good news too. Pay RM189 for 100mbps.my initial plan was 30Mbps/rm179 ==> 50Mbps(Thank You Surprise) ==> add RM10 to 100Mbps at 8pm just now, by 9.30pm, I already got the upgrade when i reached home. 24 months contract refreshed and existing equipment will hv 1 yr warranty from today. hv to call them to change equipment if existing equipment not compatible. speedtest tested so far can only get 85Mbps on average for DL and 35Mbps for UL all on wifi mode |

QUOTE(DeadmanX @ Nov 19 2017, 05:15 PM) That would be awesome. Anyway, I'll go to TM Point tomorrow, see how it goes. But, damn my nearest only open from 9am-1pm Then I’ll wait for your update . If really can then 50mbps will be rm149 without gst Lazy as hell Yup, it's broke. I'll just grab a new STB then, worst I could think of probably no unifi for 1-2 days or maybe more, idk lol Thanks |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Nov 20 2017, 04:07 PM) Actually since Advance and Pro plans, there are no more FUPs mentioned in their T&C for both these plans. Bonanza plus come with free calls. For first billing, you have to pay for current usage (prorated) and full payment for next month. UniFi is always pay first and use later. I have used both Huawei and ALU BTU before and both have no issue. Then call to clarify. The CSs have been repeating for me, this Bonanza Plus comes with free calls by default. I'm not sure how true is this but two CSs confirmed the same, I'm already having free calls since Advance 50 for RM 179. Just called to enquire about bonanza and bonanza plus. (my current package is rm179 for 50mbps thank you surprise upgrade without free call, ruby pack) I did not receive the SMS, but they able to check ur acc eligible or not. Bonanza plus: +rm10 = RM 189 to 100mbps with free 600mins Call and jumbo pack 2 year contract and price will remain the same after 2 years as long as you don’t modify ur package. Bonanza 30mbps RM139: based on the CS info, this package not entitle to use rm10 upgrade. Which means no 50mbps @ RM 149. If anyone able to get 50mbps @ rm149 , please let me know . That’s the package I want lol 😂 |

QUOTE(arrsoo @ Nov 20 2017, 04:34 PM) it sounds like those who received sms can do upgrade by calling 100 and those without sms can get theirs done at TM Point? Didn’t receive sms also can upgrade by calling 100.You just need the luck to have the experience or good CS. If they say can’t , hang up the phone and call again till u get one haha. Or else just walk tm point to avoid all hassle. |

QUOTE(annoymous1234 @ Nov 21 2017, 11:18 PM) I got my 50mbps today. But how come when I test the wifi speed I couldn't reach 50mbps, only reach around 39mbps which is far from 50. However, with LAN cable, my desktop is able to reach 50mbps. Why is this happening? Is it my phone not able to support 50mbps or the modem wifi is weak? I guess u are using TM silver box router. You need to upgrade your router. Dual band router is recommended. |

QUOTE(ch_leong @ Nov 25 2017, 01:06 PM) I suggest you all go TMPoint yell and complain and ask their supervisor and manager to come out. I did the same at yoong shook lin tm point. they ask me to terminate the line which i think it is not fair at all. Why all new customer get good treatment and old customer get rubbish? same plan different price is call unfair pricing. U went there Ask for free upgrade or rm10 upgrade ? They even ask me go MCMC complain them until i yell and ask them to write black and white they refuse to upgrade then the manager came. They are trying to upgrade for me now. That tm point is very near to my house , plan to go there do the rm10 upgrade. If their staff is not experience enough then I also don want waste time go there d . |

15/12 Went to TM point Jalan Yong Shook Lin to upgrade from 50 to 100mbps, previously called 100 confirmed that my acc eligible for the upgrade even I didn't
receive the SMS 18/12 11am - Random speedtest on phone and found out speed already upgraded. Hypptv also became Jumbo 1.30pm - Contractor came and just change my router to C1200 with minimal configuration on router only. BTU remain same Huawi hg8240w. The max DL speed only 95-96mbps after few speedtest via LAN. The contractor said he can't do anything, ask me to call TM complain. After few rounds of testing on my own, C1200 really unstable so I use back my own Archer C5 which much more better. But still I can't hit 100mbps via LAN. Is this normal? Can I complain to TM to ask for speed cap increase to 105mbps so I can get 100mbps? |
