Yes. We also tied for 2 years contract but perpetual means after 2 years the discount still there. Your case will be the discount only valid for 2 years.

I just found out that Streamyx fix line numbers can now be migrated to unifi. Since when did they implement this?

Port-in is possible since 20/6/2017. One time charge to change tel number is RM25.

100mbps at RM189 for some lucky few.

It was RM199 , 5 years ago for VIP10 (10mbps).  Broadband prices have come down a lot since then

Here is updates for RYE 100mbps upgrades..
Previously paying RM219 before GST for 50mbps thank you campaign. Call TM and complaint that I want RM189 for this 100mbps RYE upgrade and around 10 reports has been closed without feedback and solutions.
Finally take advise from akping_1 and summit report to MCMC. First report has fail bcoz TM said they can't give this 100mpbs at RM189 since my current package is different and if I want to upgrade I need to topup RM10 and it would be RM229. So this MCMC report they assign it as resolved and closed it.  FINE!!
Again.. I try my luck and summit 2nd report to MCMC. This time they finally agree and allow me to get this 100Mbps RYE at RM189. Whole process takes more than 3 weeks fighting and lastly today technican came and do the installation.

More like Broadband prices have been (and still are) overpriced..TIME still turns a healthy profit... Try the same using car prices. Really come down a lot? 

The initial investment for role out for Fiber is always hefty.

Now that TM has the economy of scale, they are able to slash the pricing of their products. So the early adopters for any technology will always pay the premium 

All I can say is, TM has improved a lot in terms of their internet services compared to streamyx days ... although I feel their products is still expensive for a 100mbps connection at RM200 - RM250.

My unifi down just install 2 day ago, already call 100 ask technician come and check, the router tm give is sucks.

Having slow speed here since yesterday.  Mind sharing what was the cause of your problem? Then I can suggest to the Unifi crew to check.
