hi guys. not sure if this is the right place to ask. but i am asking anyway.

I just had my unifi installation for the RM129 package. And also i connected another phone line to the modem (BTU right) from my wall phone socket for the security alarm.

Currently I can call into my security alarm already. But when I trigger my security alarm, it is not able to call out. Any ideas? Please help. Thank you.

Can you check if the alarm system is set to Tone Dial.

sorry. my alarm system is from a few years back. i dont have anyway to for check for the tone dial. my alarm system is bluguard L-900

It seems like the latest asus firmware fixed the slowdown problem. My router up almost 4 days and speed still ok.

Plug a phone to the phone line in parallel then trigger your alarm and listen to it when it tries to dial out. You can program it for tone or pulse dial using the keypad. Maybe it’s set to pulse dial. I think TM’s BTU does not work with pulse dialing.

agree.. better TP Link Archer C5 V2 (even after update firmware) that last time TM offer.. until my modem kaput they change to this ZTE ...

okie, thanks. manage to figured it out myself. not the tone issue. but dont know why both my phone number setting was erased from the alarm systems. it was actually just a wild guess. so i reprogrammed both my hp num via the keypad. re-arm it. and voila. both works. Thanks for the helping me to look into this issue.

Btw, one thing i dont like is i think the call out was kinda late/slow previously it was much faster when using the streamyx line. Anyone having similar issues?

i'm using bluguard also, also facing issue, mine doesn't allow me to call into my alarm system, previously can. and now alarm triggered also the phone won't call me.

when you add your handphone number, need to put 601xxx or just 01xxx ?

for those who are using TP-Link archer C7 v2 can use the beta firmware , reconnection time after reboot only around 1 minutes to 1minutes 10 second. quite impressive compare to old 2016 firmware that takes me around 2-4 minutes. but make sure to backup your old setting in the router because u will be using Eu version.

when i reprogram my hp num into the alarm system last night, i just keyed in 016#######. whats ur model number? and how u connect the phone jack? i connect both phone line ( the one connecting from the wall jack to the alarm above in the roof AND my house phone) through TEL1. Had to get an extra connector to be able to connect both jack to TEL1.

Let me know your alarm model number. mine is bluguard L900. should be able to find a manual online. downloaded one last night.

TM’s HyppTV is no more

Here is updates for RYE 100mbps upgrades..
Previously paying RM219 before GST for 50mbps thank you campaign. Call TM and complaint that I want RM189 for this 100mbps RYE upgrade and around 10 reports has been closed without feedback and solutions.
Finally take advise from akping_1 and summit report to MCMC. First report has fail bcoz TM said they can't give this 100mpbs at RM189 since my current package is different and if I want to upgrade I need to topup RM10 and it would be RM229. So this MCMC report they assign it as resolved and closed it. FINE!!
Again.. I try my luck and summit 2nd report to MCMC. This time they finally agree and allow me to get this 100Mbps RYE at RM189. Whole process takes more than 3 weeks fighting and lastly today technican came and do the installation.
Here is my previous package and after upgrades package.
