last week. i went to tm point.  tm said that need to register and apply for unifi first.  only can see my house number in the coverage system.  is that true?

coz she said that the unifi port  green box all installed to individual house.  donno how true is that?
*
that green box is the DP and does not installed to just one house. the DP is shared up to 6 houses if i am not mistaken.

i knew. my that row . have alot of green box. so if the green box infront of my house. is to cater 6 houses nearest to that green box. my house should be in it right? since my house is the nearest to the green box.

tm wont be so stupid to connect one house that is 500 m away from my unifi green box right?

sorry to disappoint you but tm is that stupid. just because the DP is in front of your house does not mean a port is reserved for you.

tm will assign ports on a first come first serve basis, even if the house is further away from the DP. as long as they can connect to the DP they will use up the ports there.

like i told you before, my situation was the same like you. the DP in my area is also near to my house but all the ports are taken up already. so when there was a free port, tm installer did not use the dp near to my house because it was already full but used another DP that is a bit further away to install my unifi

the system is saying there is no port available for your house. that's why you can't find your house in the system.

you can ask your agent to confirm this & if you are not satisfied with his answer, then go ask another agent about port availability.

what? i remember i search my house area got coverage only apply~ and i remember i also tried going to tm point to apply and they help me check from their system on the spot whether is there coverage or not first before applying~

i guess they are just trying to get your details first even if there is no availability for your area so when next time when it is available they will call you

Router only: Mikrotik RB750Gr3 or a used Gr2, even cheaper. Then add your favourite WiFi AP.

Anyone in Subang Jaya having issues with Unifi? I'm on 50Mbps connection, but only getting 5Mbps since this morning. Contacted TM and they refreshed my connection, but now I'm only getting 1Mbps. Still waiting for a response from them.
