Dear sifu's just want to ask as i'm having the below issue and i'm not sure which is causing the problem. Currently using unifi 50 which upgraded from 30 plan. Thanks

- recently when open chrome browser it's take quite long to connect to google.
- when watching youtube or browsing website it will lag, even reading email.
- both google dns and also auto dns is still the same.

could it be pc problem? btu problem? or router problem?

did you enable your ipv6?

yes i did

Try disabling it, mine was affected by IPv6.

I can help with this.
There are two solutions:


1)The easiest



2) Set static IP instead of 'Obtain IP address automatically' at your devices.

Option 1 and 2 = not really.

There is some issue with certain router being hijacked using WPAD (Web Proxy Auto-Discovery Protocol) WHICH mostly affects streamyx subscribers who use TM Innacomm adsl router.
It is about network priority stuff.

Instead of waiting for external server from WPAD to respond, option 1 and 2 let you skip it. So...let say it is a 'direct connection'.

So, when PHANTOMZERO claims he is a unifi subscribers and yet having chrome Downloading proxy script issue, I am quite skeptical

Usually 2. Latest for xDSL is a single white tower all-in-one unit, modem, phone, router & dual band wifi. ZTE H267A.

follow what fruitie has mentioned. Do update the outcome from the method you did.

Streamyx package will now be referred to as ‘Broadband’, while its subscribers are known as pre-unifi customers.

STB is for the hypptv media player(an android box with TM internal setting) , BTU (Broadband Termination Unit)will change the light pulse carry in the fiber optic into electric signal...so it will be divide to the router and telephone line, if for streamyx we call it modem....got two type of BTU ...depends on premises location...FTTH BTU and VDSL BTU.

200Mbps and 500Mbps this year or next year?

Hey guys, need some help, recently moved house and want to relocate my Unifi, there's the Unifi cables already installed in the new house but I go-to tm point they say got no ports.

I believe the previous tenant in the house using Unifi, but TM point not helping me at all, just keep telling me no ports no ports. I ask them whether got any technician go check also they cannot tell me.

Does the Unifi have to enabled from the tm side for Unifi to work? Or can I just plug my modem and all into the fibre optic port and it'll work?

Need help if anyone can help pls pm to!
