The current RM129 is for 10M. The promo RM99 is also for 10M but limited to 2 years.

Maybe the current RM129 will be upgraded to 20M over the next year. So there will be a difference already. In 2 years, the RM99 will go back to RM129 and may also be at 20M at that time. Because they said that eventually over the next 1-2 years, the average speed should be 20M.

This is similar to the 30M to 50M upgrade earlier this year. I think eventually all 30M will be upgraded to 50M over the next 1-2 years. If not the price of RM179 package and RM129 package has too little difference. They also need to adjust prices if there is new 200M and 500M packages later.

So I think over the next 1-2 years, it wil be something like 20M, 50M, 100M, 200M, 500M packages.

honestly speaking I don't find it much faster than 30Mbps

unifi line at that time is always bad, ...most of the time getting 5mbps or less. With so many devices in the house its really not good.
Using tplink, we got disconnected most of the time during 8-10pm. Very sakit hati. Using own d850, alhough line slow(8-10) but no one is diconnected, and to browse or youtube still ok but no hd or 4k content.

My conclusion - unifi line bad at time 8-10pm. Router, tplink 1200 not good enough for us, and with bad line we keep getting disconnected.

Customer service said it is for selected areas. Promo by agents for selected users. Maybe available at promotional events / fairs. Who knows what the selection criteria is...

I think it was an internal thing for now. Must have "leaked" accidentally or purposely. I think maybe its promo to get Streamyx users who haven't switched.

Unifi upgraded me to 100Mbps under the Thank You Surprise package for quite a while but could’t get 100Mbps at all. Fastest was about 93Mbps. Found out last week it’s because of the BTU (Modem) - requested TM to change it. Now getting Full speed 108Mbps download and 52Mbps upload (Singapore speedtest server). Happy guy edi!

really? i thought it depends on which area u are. Then i'll call them tomorrow asking them to change the BTU

My previous btu only fast-e (100Mbps) - my new one supports gigabit-e (1000Mbps).

Hence, the real speed is unlocked due to speed no longer constrained with overhead.

My streamyx lastest bill RM-2.30, meaning there should be a refund to me? how to claim the refund?

I log in unfi to view my bill...why I cannot open view and download my bill? I click on the button but it doesn't run at all. For my 1st unifi bill I can see they bill me RM169.55...wonder why?
