Why you think streamyx until 2023?
Maybe after Wawasan 2020 stop already. Lol.
Are you sure? You got try this?
Got additional charge or nt oh. Lol.

Yes. I'm really sure about that. You'll only able to get the full 56kbps if directly connect to exchange. I'm still remember long time ago, my old house was connected directly to exchange and able to get full 56kbps but when moving to my current house now in end of 2005, yes i'm still using dial up in that year, only managed to get 32kbps line speed. Asked tm, they said due to my taman was connected to fiber cabinet instead of direct copper to exchange. Want to change to streamyx, unfortunately there's still no pizza box installed due to new taman at that time, so need to wait until they install pizza box thingy (remote dslam) then only able to get streamyx 512kbps in the mid-2006.

Yeah.. mine is. Is still connected to the normal telephone lines which requires a dial-up. Im pretty sure many are still running on this.

Are you getting a replacement anytime soon? Guess they should be replacing it with 3G capable terminals now.

Nope.. No info from the bank yet. I think it will be a costly replacement for them as there are so many merchants.

cheaper + faster ping response + extra 2Mbps ... it's a no brainer  tongue.gif

and also since it is optic fiber, it is safer when there's lightning - lightning surges wont be able to travel thru the fiber unlike copper (killed a few phones, modems, ethernet cards in the past when i was using streamyx).

plus, if u need faster speed later, can always upgrade.
*
yeap on fiber optic
but all the electronic devices still using power supply from main source still can triggered by power surge or lighting, or any from power plugs

Are u on Win 10? It has been known to erroneously identify devices on the network. It's happened to me on Win 7 too in the past but my mystery oppo phone disappeared after an OS update.

Try turning off ALL wireless devices ...phones, tablets, tv boxes, cameras, fridge...whatever connects wirelessly, turn it off.
Refresh your network. Then turn on the devices one by one and see which is the one contributing to the misidentification.

Please help an old man. Been trying to migrate from streamyx 4mb to new UniFi Lite but so far no response.
Approached local agent, discussed the matter, gave contact number and still no response.
Just a few days ago, an Agent sent message on whatsapp. I return call via email and later on whatsapp. No resonse also.
I had not tried TM point, prefering reseller.
I looked through the list of Agents/Reseller in this thread. Unable to see any catering for Ipoh, Perak.
I suspect that since my area provide UniFi, the UniFi Lite is not meant for me to migrate to? No answer also.
Thanks for any assistance forthcoming.

As long as your area has unifi coverage, you can subscribe to unifi lite. Try pm the agents on page one and they will be more than glad to help you on this.

It's early stages for Malaysia and the ISPs are still not ready to fully replace the IPv4 system. Just stick to IPv4 for now anyway until further notice.

Try connect to ac channel... it helps .. instead of having slight delay lag... my desktop pc connection is very smooth now after I change to that... I think is 5ghz channel... not the 2.5ghz channel ...
