We got our good telco give unlimited 64kbps basic internet.. laugh.gif laugh.gif
*
If you're connected to the fiber optic phone node, then your speed will be limited to 32kbps rclxub.gif puke.gif

Why you think streamyx until 2023?
Maybe after Wawasan 2020 stop already. Lol.
Are you sure? You got try this?
Got additional charge or nt oh. Lol.
*
Yes. I'm really sure about that. You'll only able to get the full 56kbps if directly connect to exchange. I'm still remember long time ago, my old house was connected directly to exchange and able to get full 56kbps but when moving to my current house now in end of 2005, yes i'm still using dial up in that year, only managed to get 32kbps line speed. Asked tm, they said due to my taman was connected to fiber cabinet instead of direct copper to exchange. Want to change to streamyx, unfortunately there's still no pizza box installed due to new taman at that time, so need to wait until they install pizza box thingy (remote dslam) then only able to get streamyx 512kbps in the mid-2006.

Yes, apartment/condo. Stats looks good but only interleaved mode giving me problem
*
Mine is much more worst than you. They set the interleave depth to 64 for download which makes my ping not less than 30ms. With such high speed cap at the DSLAM, you still managed to get 0 in CRC errors. My stats shows around 30++ CRC errors in 6 days connection uptime. BTW, I'm still using streamyx 8mbps. There's no unifi lite here (should I say only my taman as well as other three taman are abandoned by tm in their 2016 sub urban broadband project in my area). dry.gif

Sadly, No coverage available at my place. Tm said my area falls under 2019 project which means I need to wait another two years! Only if those so called project will be proceed in 2019. It might turn to be white elephant. Who knows... sad.gif

TM told that ur area under 2019 project? On Feb when I lodge a lot of complaints via MCMC, TM keep telling me my area wont hv Unifi coverage in short period, and please drop email to check again on next year whether their committee hv put my address in their HSBB project list. They cant tell me when will it available if my address is not under 2017 project…
*
Yes. They told me that my area project will start somewhere in early 2019 and will complete in the end of 2019. Actually, my area falls under subb coverage, not hsbb. Currently they are actively installing the new vdsl cabinet all around my area but suprisingly my taman are the only three taman that was leave out for the cabinet upgrade sad.gif When i complained to tm and mcmc, they stated that subb project for the three tamans will only commence on 2019 and we will be provided with ftth instead of vdsl. Again, only if the project will be proceed. I'm afraid i don't get anything, either vdsl or ftth. Instead i'll stuck with streamyx 8mbps forever....

How about the playback quality in HppyTV Everywhere app compare with STB? Same quality or STB have better quality?
*
Hypptv via stb picture quality better than app, even with streamyx 8mb like what I got now.

Is it significant? The quality difference in term of? Resolution or frames?
*
Quite significance difference between stb and apps (no idea about others opinion). But sometime the picture quality will drop a bit when many users are currrently accessing the internet especially high bandwidth application like youtube. The quality is good but still not comparable with dedicated vlan bandwidth like unifi advance/pro had.

Im using Hypp TV Everwhere app on the original TM STB and the quality is HD quality and it is comparable to Astro HD video quality.
*
How you managed to do that?
I even tried to watch hypptv everywhere from those so called original tm stb that has been 'hacked' last week at my cousin house, and the picture quality sucks! rclxub.gif

Does anyone know, the big TM cabinet below support for Unifi lite or not? I am currently stuck at 4Mbps @ RM148. sad.gif

*
Yes. That's the SUBB VDSL Cabinet. It supports Unifi Lite via VDSL Copper line.

Coming soon. They've planned to install the unifi via FTTH at your place. When? Within this or next year because it appeared on their network list already.

oh well, TM has replied to me that they have no plan to upgrade their cabinet that supports more than 8mbps as long the hardware is working and users enjoying the current speed without any interuption. The adjacent kampung left and right to my place surprisingly supporting unfilite due to newly installed cabinet.
*
Same case like mine. There’s no plan to upgrade the cabinet at my taman. In other words, alamat anda tidak termasuk dalam perancangan SUBB. sad.gif Anyway if you don’t mind can you tell where’s your place right now? I don’t think your place are too kampung because you already got 8mbps before.

Kampung area in Melaka, my network connected into their cabinet KSB V 0003V. The other cabinet at next kampung is VC and VB, and another one is VF. TM already told me these area is supported unifilite.
*
Are you sure your area are considered as ‘kampung’?
KSB got unifi ftth already when I checked your exchange at their network geomatics site. Or maybe this is for town area only? Perhaps your area falls under HSBB2 project? They will put unifi fiber terus instead of vdsl cabinet.. maybe... hmm.gif

Can you check mine, is my area in HSBB installation planning?
Parit Buntar, Perak
*
Hi neighbour, im from bagan serai. Yes! They’re now busy installing the infra all around parit buntar starting from last month. Parit buntar should falls under hsbb2 planning, not subb like bagan serai. I’m frequently shop my groceries at mydin pb every two weeks, and from what I saw last sunday, the installation is completed at taman damai. I saw quite a number of fiber distribution cabinet and latest, they installed it in taman kerian permai. Taman kerian tambahan also got the ‘tapak’ for fdc already. The shoplot at taman wawasan jaya (they put it just beside the indah water ‘mini’ station,). Managed to grab the picture of one of the fiber distribution cabinet at the front of taman damai.

Noticed that the base for fdc was raised quite high due to recent flash flood that attack Parit buntar last month sad.gif

I don't wanna go tmpoint coz i am quite certain my area is not covered. But if got covered, save me hassle by checking dsl stats only, which is not possible too. Asked few agents when unifi lite newly launched
*
You can check the coverage online now, just proceed to https://unifi.com.my/ to do so and enter your address there. Why bother to go to Tmpoint.
