True story: This has happened before, at a place in Sabah that should remain unnamed. Don't drink and drive guys. TM simply replaced the cabinet with a similar model. This happened last year though, maybe the policy has changed?

The reason behind this is because the "upgrade" issue coming from the underground cable, no only DSLAM box we saw.
TM need to pull the fiber to DSLAM then upgrade the infrastructure to provide unifi lite or unifi services.

For my case:
My house connect to R label box and only can use 1M Streamyx around year 2011.
Solution:
I found a V label box beside the R box which support the Jalan 8-14 at my area, my Jalan is 2, submit my finding report and file a complaint to MCMC.
After 1 year, TM provide me with 4M Stremayx by making a connection from R box to V box.

For my upgrade case:
Asking for Unifi
Solution:
Complaint to MCMC again with my finding report as I check with TM is that my area under SUBB / HSBB -> Yes
Technical issue with my area:
Suppose underground cable with 6 pipe to my area but damage 2, another 4 fully use.
TM can't upgrade my area as remove old cable is causing a lot of down time and they didn't plan to do so.
TM start to thinking about make new pipe and connect my area to the nearest point.

No update from TM, file a complaint again. (Year 2016)
TM said they will start to allocate resource to do the new pipe to my area and upgrade the box.

After 1 year, no update from TM again, file a complaint again (Year 2017)
TM said due to my city council didn't approve them to dig the road, so they put the plan in hold (True as my area just pave new road)
Keep complaint and email to head of broadband development of MCMC.
TM call and ask me to give them some time to solve the issue.
Saw TM contractor start dig the road and working to pull cable.
New road collapse around TM working zone, TM work suspended again doh.gif

What we need is faith and luck blink.gif

Wao, keep complain to MCMC. It is quite big task follow up by year to year.

MCMC did not give TM lead time to solve the coverage issues? Kinda seems like no deadline.
*
MCMC deadline is provider need to give solution in one week.
Solution itself maybe half year to one year rolleyes.gif

As long as somebody answer it then case can be close or we could keep the case open until fix.
For my case, I agree to close the case and open new one after TM fail to do so. smile.gif

Yes.. Segamat falls under SUBB which for the time being, max speed will be 10Mbps only. SUBB - fiber to cabinet, not fiber to home.
If your area falls under HSBB2 like Muar, then max speed of 100Mbps are available to subscribe.

Could you check on Kangkar Pulai Johor? I believe it is under SUBB, am I correct? smile.gif
