i just install 512x2 ddr 667 ram...i manage to get 3.0 from 2.0 in windows experience index...ok or not?...still using onboard graphic...

I just updated my Windows Experience Index. Now my windows are half opaque and the way they appear is different. Why is that so?

if changing processor but not changing mobo, need to reactivate or not?

Please tell us what hardware index changes, drivers that you updated, and of course the past  score and the current score, screenshot if possible.

However, I saw one sells online with quite a cheap price, in US, and I plan to buy from him. But I notice 1 different between US and International Vista.

SKU code for United States is 66R-00002, while in countries other than US is 66R-00020. What is the different? Is there any geographical limitation? And the most important is, can I activate it in Malaysia and use it like normal?
I search for a lots of forums and websites and blogs, but I just can't find any answer for it. Hope someone can answer my questions, instead keep telling me to buy from Malaysia.....

Hey all. Just thought you might be interested in our new free application, Amnesty Generator, that automatically converts Google "Universal" gadgets into Vista Sidebar gadgets.
Note that it is not a developer's tool, just a small utility for regular Vista users to add some of the 3000+ Google gadgets to their sidebar. Since it just "wraps" HTML into a gadget template it also supports "conversion" from other web gadgets, even video embeds from YouTube.

This is a port of our same application for OS X -- and our first Windows app -- so feel free to send us comments, suggestions, criticisms, etc. We'd really appreciate the feedback. It's a beta release, so we'll be finishing up the app over the next couple of months.

Previously it was unrated with a base score of 1.0 because i just setup the whole rig. I figured out how to solve the opaque windows but i want to change the way windows appear to the old way. Now whenever i select a windows that were previously minimise, it expands from the taskbar while i would like it to just appear straight.

I heard that my machine will be 'locked' if i am not using licensing software. I am using Windows Vista with license, however, i only have a free trial Norton Anti Virus software for 30days. So, i have downloaded a crack for the NAV application. Below are some of my queries..

(1) Am I suppose to use the crack?
(2) What will happen to my workstation if i use it?
(3) The 'lock' senario will happen to by Vista where i am not able to login anymore once i install the crack?
(4) Or, the 'lock' will only happen to my NAV application?

if you search through our forums, you will find several free anti-virus software that works even better then Norton....no need to use cracked version of Norton really.
