Guys.. my cousin somehow have received a free Vista Ultimate (dunno how he get it.. something to do with MMU or so he said)...

So since he already have Vista in his PC.. he gives it to me after I.. well.. beg him for it.

Currenly my PC is running Windows XP (ofcourse larr.. tongue.gif ). So I wanted to test Vista out.. but someone else here recommended me to do dual-booting instead.

I always have the impression that Dual-Booting is bad for PC and gaming (might be a myth inside my brain though)... so here I wanted clarification... first... will dual-boot my PC (both Vista and XP) have any side effect like lag or whatever to my PC and particularly.. gaming.

And second... how to perform the dual-boot??

it doesn't matter how many OS you installed in your HD,only one can be running at one time....except if is runs on VMWare as an example the it will consume a lot of resource. It only take your HDisk space that's all.

Did you realise that even if the processor is 64bit, if the OS is 32bit it means that IT STILL RUNS ON 32BIT AND WILL STILL USE ONLY 3GB OF RAMS? Duhhhhh....

RTM has more prefetch usage than RC2. Higher usage, but faster computer responce. And anyways, it can automatically free needed rams in a flash

There is no problem running foobar itself on windows vista. But, should you use any foobar plugins, please download all the latest version instead. Else, there may be errors causing foobar to crash.
